Responsibilities:
Maintain books of account of DAS, AIIS & ABS
Maintain accounts receivable and payable
Maintain cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for the smooth functioning of the school
Manage the annual budget
Handle day-to-day banking transactions with banks
Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and provide necessary documentation in a timely manner
Maintain books of accounts in compliance with IFRS
Resolve customer issues and find amicable solutions for problems
Make recommendations to management to resolve exceptional customer issues related to fees refund
Prepare fee structure for the new academic year and forward it for management approval
Maintain proper outlook calendar to track recurring payments
Maintain confidentiality of financial information of DAS, AIIS & ABS
Train and monitor accounts staff to achieve individual and departmental goals
Department Goals:
Provide appropriate financial information to top-level management for decision making
Ensure well-maintained records of books of accounts
Ensure availability of adequate funds for school operations
Ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed and implemented
Identify and suggest measures to improve existing accounting policies and procedures
Ensure that all payments (recurring & non-recurring) are made on time
Individual Goals:
Efficient maintenance of DAS, AIIS and ABS books of accounts
Ensure timely completion of accounts department functions
Guide and motivate accounts staff towards continuous individual and organizational growth
Reports:
Weekly report to KOM (Director) Anup George & Subin (Admin. Coordinator)
