Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Architect with deep expertise across the Salesforce platform. Expertise across key Salesforce pillars including CPQ, Billing, Revenue Cloud, Experience and Service will be needed. As an architect you will lead architectural strategy, data contexts, solution & integration design, and platform stabilization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce architecture design patterns, guiding development teams in best practices, and driving low-code/no-code solutions.
Position Responsibilities:
Salesforce Architecture & Strategy
Define and implement scalable and extensible Salesforce architecture with a focus on CPQ, Billing, and Revenue Cloud, while ensuring seamless integration with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Commerce and Experience Cloud.
Architect solutions that support subscription and usage-based billing, pricing flexibility, and payment integrations.
Develop and maintain enterprise-wide Salesforce technical architecture standards, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security across multiple Salesforce clouds.
Lead technical solution design by collaborating with Enterprise Architect, Functional Leaders, and Technical Leads to ensure the architecture aligns with business needs and IT strategy.
Act as the technical design authority, providing architectural oversight across all Salesforce implementations and ensuring adherence to best practices.
Architect and optimize customer and partner portal solutions using Experience Cloud, ensuring seamless self-service capabilities and user engagement.
Integration & Data Management
Work closely with the Data Integration team to architect scalable and efficient integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise applications, including Data warehouse, financial systems, professional services, customer success, and soon to be sunset legacy systems ensuring seamless data flow and operational efficiency.
Architect the transition from legacy applications to Salesforce, maximizing OOB capabilities and minimizing custom development for scalability and maintainability.
Drive the adoption of low-code/no-code solutions, leveraging Flows, Lightning App Builder, and declarative automation tools to enhance agility, reduce technical debt, and improve system maintainability.
Design and implement API and middleware solutions (e.g., Mule Soft, Workato, Dell Boomi) to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient data exchange between Salesforce and external systems.
Oversee SFDC data modeling, governance, and migration strategies, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and a single source of truth across the enterprise.
Technical Debt Management & Platform Stabilization
Partner with functional and technical leaders to identify, refactor, and eliminate technical debt, ensuring a stable, scalable, and maintainable Salesforce environment.
Optimize Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud by collaborating with IT and business teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve system performance.
Participate in system audits, implementing best practices for code quality, scalability, and security.
Development Governance & Best Practices
Provide technical leadership, ensuring adherence to Salesforce development best practices.
