Summary
We are looking for a hardworking delivery Driver in our organization. A Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods by van, truck or other delivery vehicle. They are responsible for inspecting their delivery vehicle, verifying shipments, loading and unloading goods to be transported in a safely manner to customer locations. This individual will also be responsible for following all safety protocols and driving in all weather conditions.
Job Description:
Deliver Fresh and Frozen seafood and meat products
Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle;
Check the temperature of the van before loading and in transit as well
Load the products as per invoice to be delivered to different customers;
Unload it at customer locations;
Check the products with the customer as mentioned on Invoice
Respect the order of deliveries to optimize the route of the day;
Handle all delivery work orders;
Pick up products from different supplier locations, if needed
Assist with other related warehouse work (loading, unloading, packaging, cutting and others)
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Posses a valid G Class license;
Previous delivery or customer service experience in any industry
Be in excellent physical shape and be able to lift 50 lbs
Have a good driving record;
A very good knowledge of the region;
Previous food delivery experience (asset);
Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication and conflict resolution
Collect payment and get signatures for proof of delivery

Pay: $17.20 per hour
