Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant – Teesside
Are you a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and thriving primary schools.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students across a range of subjects, working closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and help students reach their full potential.
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Assist in the preparation and delivery of learning resources and activities to ensure students are fully engaged.
Help to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment.
Support the teacher with classroom management, marking, and administrative tasks.
Encourage students to develop their confidence, independence, and social skills.
Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
Provide pastoral support and help with the overall well-being of students.
What We’re Looking For:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with students in an educational setting, ideally supporting students with a range of learning needs.
A DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to undergo a DBS check through Protocol Education.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with students, staff, and parents.
A positive, patient, and flexible approach to supporting students.
An understanding of how to support students with SEND and other learning barriers.
A proactive attitude and a passion for helping students achieve their best.
