About Team:
Focusing on customer, associate and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,200 retail units, operating in 23 countries such as Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Mexico and South Africa to name a few.
What you'll do:
You'll collaborate closely with product managers and tech leads to understand the requirements, then develop, unit test, and deliver software components that meet these needs.
You'll contribute significantly to efforts towards Operational Excellence and Engineering Excellence.
You'll build and implement tools and systems to boost the overall productivity of the team.
What you'll bring:
Over 4 years of experience in developing REST web services using Spring Boot and JAVA.
Experience with asynchronous messaging using Kafka and No
SQL technologies.
Proven experience in building multi-tenant software platforms.
Experience in deploying to cloud services like Azure or GCP.
A deep interest and passion for technology.
The ability to learn quickly and view learning as a continuous experience.
Eagerness to share knowledge and implement best practices within the team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivation to work in a fast-paced, results-driven agile environment with varied responsibilities.
A propensity for taking ownership and delivering on commitments.
