Role Overview:
Are you a hands-on professional with expertise in welding, brazing and mechanical assembly? We're looking for a skilled Welding and Brazing Fabricator to join our team. If you have a passion for precision and are experienced in reading technical drawings, soldering, and assembling mechanical products, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:
Assemble sub-assemblies, including fans, motors, and heaters.
Use a variety of hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, torque wrenches) and power tools to complete tasks.
Perform soldering and brazing on small components to ensure secure and accurate connections.
Fit, bend, and work with pipes to meet assembly requirements.
Utilize measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometres to ensure precise assembly.
Follow detailed technical drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to meet product specifications.
Ensure compliance with PUWER regulations during all work activities.
Experience &
Skills Required:
Proven experience in mechanical assembly with a strong understanding of assembly processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Proficient in using precision measuring tools like verniers and micrometres.
Experience with brazing, soldering, and plasma welding (desirable).
Pipe fitting and/or pipe bending skills (desirable).
Soldering qualifications and F-Gas accreditation are a plus.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for BPSS clearance.
You must be able to provide a full 3-year employment history.
A CRB check and address verification will be required.
