About the Role:
We’re looking for a Communications Manager to join our team on a temporary basis to lead and deliver internal and external communications across the business. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and content creation skills, ideally with experience in the engineering, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
You’ll play a key role in shaping the company's voice, enhancing brand visibility, supporting internal engagement, and ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute communications plans to support business goals and key projects
* Create engaging written content for internal newsletters, press releases, case studies, social media, and website updates
* Work closely with leadership and departmental teams to gather updates and craft clear messaging
* Support internal communications and employee engagement initiatives
* Liaise with external partners, media contacts, and marketing suppliers where needed
* Ensure brand consistency and tone of voice across all written and visual materials
* Monitor engagement and provide reports on communication performance and reach
* Manage crisis communications and ensure alignment with company policy
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in a communications, PR, or marketing role
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Able to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging content
* Experience within the engineering, construction, or manufacturing sector is highly desirable
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and content creation tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe, etc.)
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting quickly to new information
* Immediate or short notice availability preferred
