    About the role
    Reporting to the Head of Facilities Management, the Health & Safety Officer will be responsible for the management of Environmental, Health & Safety activities at five office locations in Ireland and UK that accommodate over 900 employees.

    Ensure the organisation complies with all relevant EHS legislation and codes of practice.
    Regularly review and update EHS policies, ensuring all employees are informed and engaged.
    Develop and implement innovative EHS practices and programs, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
    Conduct risk assessments and safety audits in line with the annual audit plan
    Oversee emergency response planning and ensure all offices and staff are always prepared for potential incidents.
    Investigate accidents and incidents, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented.
    Key member of the EHS Committee.
    Developing EHS training and awareness programmes and ensure they are rolled out to all staff.
    Liaising with the relevant legal authorities (i.e. HSA, EPA etc.)
    Safety management of contractors and suppliers working at Davy offices.
    Collaborate with the HR department to support employee wellness programmes.
    Develop and report on EHS metrics.
    Provide EHS input and advice to construction and procurement project management teams.
    Collaborate with the FM team and FM outsourced partners on all EHS matters.
    Liaising with BOI Group EHS.
    About You
    At least 4 years experience working in a similar role.
    A degree in Health & Safety, Engineering or a related field and be a member of a recognised health and safety professional body (e.g. IOSH)
    Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO50001 management systems.
    You have a deep understanding of H&S legislation and are confident managing all aspects of H&S.
    You have advanced people skills, and you can effectively engage and influence employees at all levels.
    Knowledge of construction safety management practices.
