We are seeking a skilled Print Machinist to join our experienced team at CCL Label in Nuriootpa, South Australia. As a Print Machinist, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of premium printing presses, ensuring the consistent production of high-quality labels. This is a full-time role, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing organisation.
What you'll be doing
Operate and maintain a range of printing presses, including offset UV and digital printing equipment
Setting up embellishing techniques such as hot and cold foil stamping, embossing, varnishing, laminating and multi-layer material merging
Monitoring production and operating printing presses along with quality inspection systems
Monitor print quality, and make necessary adjustments to maintain consistent output
Perform routine maintenance
Collaborate with the broader production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of orders
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Ensuring order and cleanliness
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Print Machinist
Strong technical skills and understanding of printing processes including colour matching
Ability to read and interpret job specifications, colour charts, and other technical documentation
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Good manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle the demands of the role
Ability to work effectively within a team and follow established procedures and safety protocols
