Responsabilités
As a Management Team Leader/Director, the job tasks and role include:
- Designs and drives the Research and Development strategy (PRM/TRM Roadmap)
- Formulates, recommends and ensures the implementation of the Group R&D policy (DR1, DR2..)
- Plans and implements the development of new processes
- Provides technical oversight and expertise
- Ensures that R&D activities will maintain the organisation’s competitive position and profitability
- Has overall responsibility of high quality of service, and for adherence to industry rules and regulations
- Follows up on the market’s trend thanks to customer, trade show visit, conference, specialized journal
- Acts as an excellent forward-thinking leader
- Supports the production when production problem happens
- Manages a team, provide coaching and advice to team members
- Manages the relationship with the Luxembourg Minister of Economy and European Union Innovation department in order to receive maximum grant to support the R&D policy
- Promotes and develop relationship with R&D Institutes, university in the Volta/CFL context
- Manages the relationship with Luxembourg Minister of Economy and European Union REACH organization to follow constrain and obligation on chemical products used or to be used in our process
- Handles contacts with external suppliers
- Build a patent policy and execute it
- Ensures confidentiality
- Process owner in term of Iso management, IATF management
Exigences obligatoires
- Has a master/PhD degree in Chemistry
- Has around 10 years of relevant experience in R&D in an industrial / manufacturing production environment
- Has a R&D network in Luxembourg (with other industrial companies, with R&D Institute, LIST, university,
- Has very good knowledge of copper foil
- Has very good knowledge of Laminators and or PCB process
- Has very good knowledge of project management
- Has communication, organisational, analytical and people management skills or willingness to grow people
- Provides timely, concise, audience appropriate information orally and in writing
- Is proficient in French and English
