Role: Business Analyst – Contract
Location: Milton Keynes (2-3 days on-site, remainder remote)
Rate: £300 per day (Outside IR35)
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join my clients team on a contract basis for a minimum of 12 months with possible extension. This role requires a highly analytical and proactive individual to work closely with stakeholders, ensuring business requirements are effectively translated into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Take ownership of functional and non-functional requirements, including process flows.
Lead key workshops, such as requirement elicitation sessions and Sprint refinement sessions.
Work closely with Product Managers to refine Sprint backlogs and support prioritisation decisions.
Operate within cross-functional Agile teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, with well-structured Acceptance Criteria
Act as a bridge between business and IT teams, ensuring technical solutions align with business needs.
Evaluate existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and drive efficiencies. Key Skills & Experience:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in Ecommerce/Retail systems.
Strong understanding of microservice architecture and APIs.
Proven experience working in Agile Sprint teams for software delivery.
Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps (ADO), Cosmos DB, and SQL.
In-depth knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
Experience working with both internal teams and third-party partners. This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to contribute to a dynamic Agile environment while shaping the success of critical projects.
