Prime Appointments are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work for a company based in Tollesbury to start immediately! This is a full-time temporary position for at least 4 weeks to help with the large amount of supplier invoices for payment.
Paying £13.50 - £14.50 per hour depending on experience working in the office Monday - Friday 8:30-4:00pm (30 minute unpaid lunch).
Duties for this Purchase Ledger Clerk position will include but are not limited to:
To process a high volume of supplier invoices for payment
Checking statements before process
Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies
Supplier query resolution
Supplier statement reconciliations
Check account coding
Maintain purchase ledger records and provide financial administration
Assist in other areas of the Accounts Department as required
Experience required for this Purchase Ledger Clerk role:
Experience in a similar Purchase Ledger/Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant role
Xero experience
High level IT skills, particularly MS Excel and Word
The ability to work quickly with a high degree of accuracy
Be self-directed and able to complete tasks with limited supervision
