    Graduate Project Engineer

    Graduate Project Engineer – St. Albans

    Location: St. Albans

    Contract: Temporary to Permanent (After 13 weeks)

    Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

    Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm

    Immediate Start

    The Company was founded in 1971 and is still a family run business. Over the years widened its product range to include complete MV / LV packages together with energy management / monitoring systems. They supply to mainly commercial building such as banks, universities, BBC, SKY, Pinewoods. They have been steadily growing over the last few years and now require an Electrical Junior Project Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be expected to learn as they develop into the role. This would include spending time in the manufacturing departments and providing administrative support to the electrical project engineers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Controlling projects from receipt of contract to installation and commissioning.

    Responsibility for all commercial and technical aspects of projects.

    Liaise with clients and their representatives.

    Attend site meetings with clients and their representatives.

    Liaise with suppliers in ascertaining the suitability of electrical components for projects.

    Liaise with the Company’s draughting engineers and production team.

    Eventually you will be trained to control projects from receipt of contract to installation and commissioning and be responsible for all commercial and technical aspects of projects.
