School Administrator
Milestone Education are currently working on behalf of a primary school in Coventry who are recruiting for an Administration Officer. The school are keen to ensure that all applicants are able to demonstrate prior school based experience with a good understanding of SIMS.
Job role:
* Answering the telephone and dealing with queries.
* Maintaining databases.
* Monitoring of admin office emails.
* Recording pupil attendance and undertaking administrative duties relating to first day. absence calls and sending relevant letters to families.
* Maintaining the school diary General photocopying, filing, distribution of post, and admin tasks.
* Arranging staff cover, liaising with supply staff, maintaining staff absence spreadsheet.
* Manage the schools social media platforms.
Key Requirements
* GCSE Grade 4 in literacy and numeracy
* Previous experience of administration tasks and front of house reception
* Ability to manage social media platforms.
* Able to use all office equipment and has knowledge of administrative, word processing & excel software packages.
* Prior experience of using SIMS.
