Part-time opportunity available for experienced nurse in Cork City centre. As a Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1), the successful candidate will be joining a national healthcare provider with the career opportunities and supports such an organisation can provide.
The role is in a home for retired members of the service where the guiding philosophy is one of care and compassion. As a CNM1, the successful candidate will be responsible for the healthcare needs and well-being of service users. You will be required to enhance and maintain the highest standards in patient care and will have day-to-day liaison with the Clinical Care Lead.
This is a part-time role working a minimum 22hrs per week. There is also an opportunity to discuss fulltime opportunities.
Shift work is a requirement of this post over a 7 day roster. There is no requirement for night duty.
To be considered for the role the following criteria apply:
- Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a senior nursing / leadership role.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience of working as a Staff Nurse with older people is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently is essential for this role.
- A management qualification is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
- Eligible to work in Ireland
