Job Title: Secretary / Personal Assistant - Private Client Team

Are you a highly organised and motivated individual with a strong secretarial background? We are working with a leading law firm based in Leicester, looking to recruit a talented and experienced Secretary / Personal Assistant to join their well-established Private Client Team.
This friendly, supportive team is seeking someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to provide exceptional administrative and secretarial support to fee earners while acting as a Personal Assistant to the Partner. You'll be a key player in helping the team run smoothly, contributing to a variety of tasks and ensuring efficient document management and client care.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing full secretarial support to the Private Client Team, including document management and correspondence handling.
Transcribing, proof-reading, and formatting letters, emails, and other legal documents.
Audio typing and ensuring accurate document formatting.
Scanning, paginating, and photocopying materials.
Opening client files, conducting ID checks, and preparing client care letters.
Assisting with general administration duties to support the smooth operation of the team.
Supporting the Partner with Personal Assistant duties, ensuring all aspects of their day-to-day work are organised and managed efficiently.
Key Skills and Experience:
Previous secretarial experience is essential - does not have to be within private client
Experience in a legal environment, particularly within Private Client law, is highly advantageous.
Strong document management skills, including numbering and amending legal documents.
Excellent typing skills and the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
A keen eye for detail, with an ability to proofread and format documents with precision.
Good organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
A strong team player, comfortable working within a pool structure and supporting a variety of team members.
Motivated, proactive, and eager to learn and develop your skills.
