    We are looking for a Solutions Architect to join our client on a contract basis (with the potential to convert to permanent if interested!). With an emphasis on the integration and configuration of COTS and Cloud systems within a predominantly Microsoft environment, you will provide expert guidance and leadership, ensuring architecture and design considerations align with best practices and standards, addressing specific needs and challenges across the organisation.

    Responsibilities include leading programmes and projects, influencing stakeholders, and collaborating with project managers, other architects, and IT teams to understand the requirements to develop innovative solutions.

    Key responsibilities:

    Be responsible for the ownership of solution architecture and technical designs within programmes of work.

    Run Technical Design Authority meetings

    Support design activities within IT whilst ensuring conformance with the Technical Design Authority.

    Provide technical guidance to programmes and projects.

    Provide governance for design activities

    Utilise and maintain architecture artefacts.

    Monitor the technology market and promote the development of future platforms.

    Work closely with the Enterprise Architect and other architects to mature and promote the Enterprise Architecture capability.Key skills and experience:

    To be successful in this role you will have comprehensive knowledge of solution architecture and solutions design

    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

    Knowledge of TOGAF (or comparable architecture modelling frameworks) and ArchiMate modelling language.
