Contek Recruitment are currently working with a leading manufacturing client, who specialise in high quality displays and fixtures for the retail and hospitality sectors, based in Letchworth Garden City. Due to growth, they are now looking for a Brake Press Setter/Operator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Setting and operating Bystronic, Promecam and Mebusa brake press machines.
* Understanding sheet metal work processes and fabrication techniques.
* Understanding of reading technical engineering drawings.
* To set up and operate the brake press machines to achieve maximum output and quality.
* To assist the Metalwork Supervisor to set up the machines and monitor accuracy.
* To check quality and dimensions, stack/label and count parts against the labour paperwork before releasing to other departments.
* To carry out daily operational checks as required, ensure results are visible and report all findings to the Metalwork Supervisor.
* To deliver finished parts to the next user.
Working Hours: Monday to Thurday (08:00 AM until 16:30 PM) and Friday (08:00 AM until 16:00 PM)
