Responsabilidades
1.- Preparar el consultorio dental para recibir el paciente.
2.- Llevar adecuadamente al consultorio desde el área de esterilización: bandejas, materiales y equipos y cualquier elemento necesario para brindarle los servicios a los pacientes. De igual forma retorna los mismos al área de esterilización previo a realizar higienización.
3.- Recibir con respeto al paciente en el consultorio; así como orientarlo en caso de tener que moverse de un área a otra.
4.- Asistir al doctor en el ejercicio de su profesión dándole prioridad a las áreas de cirugía, odontopediatría, prótesis, periodoncia, ortododoncia y pacientes de dificil manejo.
5.- Realizar limpieza especial de consultorios (lámpara del equipo de resina, electrobisturí, sillón dental, turbina, micromotor, cavitron y cualquier otro equipo especializado). Retirar la basura del zafacón para evitar malos olores e higienizar los consultorios asignados en caso que aplique.
6.- Retirar sutura post-quirúrgicas. Notificar al doctor que realizó el procedimiento y al doctor clínico de cualquier imprevisto.
7.- Dominar el programa de cita de la institución.
8.- Dar soporte en la confirmación de pacientes citados; informar a la Dirección Administrativa de los pacientes que cancelaron su cita o no asistieron.
9.- Contactar por vía telefónica pacientes post-quirúrgicas o con tratamientos especiales.
10.- Participar en las actividades de Prevención y Promoción.
11.- Soporte en la hora de almuerzo en Recepción Administrativa y/o Counter.
12.- Tener la capacidad de enseñarle al paciente técnicas de higiene oral; así como conocer los productos de higiene disponibles en el centro.
13.- Manejar el lenguaje propio de un consultorio dental.
14.- Reportar a la mejor brevedad cualquier avería o inconveniente con un equipo.
15.- Ser capaz de tomar correctamente radiografías periapicales y administrar el sistema interno de imágenes.
16.- Dominar el programa de cita de la institución.
17.- Poseer conocimientos básicos de todas las áreas de la odontología
