    People Advisor - Permanent, Canary Wharf

    Hours: 40 per week, 08.30am - 17.30pm Monday to Friday

    Salary: £35,000 to £40,000 dependant on skills & experience

    This role is fast paced, supporting Ballymore Asset Management Limited (BAML). To be successful, you must enjoy working in a collaborative and changing environment, be process driven and technically savvy. The role is pivotal in providing a proactive, empathetic, and accurate HR service in a generalist HR role, ER case work and project work.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    * Lead and manage a number of employee relations cases such as Performance Management, Absence Management, Capability, Grievance and Disciplinary at any one time. Escalating complex cases as appropriate to the Senior People Advisor.

    * Delivery of a generalist HR advisory service to the business, providing up to date and informed HR guidance on HR policies, processes and systems.

    * Assist with the end-to-end employee lifecycle processes. This will include supporting the People Admin team with onboarding and offboarding where necessary.

    * Conducting exit interviews as part of the end to end employee lifecycle process.

    * Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.

    * Support the Senior People Advisor and HR Business Partner with the review and design and implementation of policies and processes to ensure that they are fit for business purpose.

    * Assist in the development of HR initiatives and help drive their implementation across the business.

    * Work closely with the People Administrators on ad-hoc projects as requested by the Senior People Advisor or HR Business Partner

    * Monthly analysis of KPI reports for absences, highlighting issues or trends as required with stakeholders

    * To support and deliver management with the necessary training and development needed in the people practice on delivering best practice.

    * Continually seek ways of improving procedures and workflows to maximise effectiveness of the People Function.

    Skills, Experience & Qualifications

    * Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

    * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, with confidence to communicate with all stakeholders across the business.

    * An empathetic approach – this role partners our people and we should put them at the forefront when working through people-related matters

    * Experience of dealing with high volumes of ER case management.

    * Experience working in fast-paced, agile and changing environment.

    * A developing knowledge of legislation and the practical application of the law

    * Considerable experience working as a HR Advisor

    * CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential
