    They have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Health & Safety Advisor (on a 12-month FTC) to provide support and advice to the workplace teams, vendors and supply chain to meet the necessary legislative requirements.

    The Role

    Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, the Health & Safety Advisor will play an integral role in developing policies and procedures to prevent workplace hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.

    This will also include:

    * Conducting risk assessments and inspections with the aim of reducing risk

    * Manage internal and external audits and all related activities

    * Outline safe operational procedures

    * Ensure safe and compliant working practices

    * Reporting all incidents and accident statistics to management

    * Leading in-house H&S training with managers and employees

    * Documenting all inspection findings and reporting accordingly

    * Management reporting

    * Keep up to date with any new legislation and industry developments

    The Individual

    The ideal Health & Safety Advisor will be NEBOSH or equivalent qualified with a minimum of 3years experience in a similar role gained within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment.

    You will also have:

    * A proven track record of successful Health & Safety delivery

    * Experience of any of the following: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO27001 and ISO 45001.

    * Strong communication skills

    * A hands-on approach to Health & Safety

    * Excellent problem-solving stills

    * A focus on Continuous Improvement
