    The role - Behaviour Mentor

    I am working with a SEMH School based in Wandsworth that are looking for a new Behaviour Mentor to join their team! In this role you will be working with Key stage 3 students out of class, and you must have strong behaviour management skills, you will be required to use de – escalation techniques and build strong rapport with the students. As a Behaviour Mentor you must be an approachable, confident and nurturing person and will be working closely with other Behaviour Mentors. In this role you will be working on a one – to – one basis and must have experience working with challenging behaviour and Social, Emotional Mental Health needs.

    The school is a SEMH school that caters to students aged 5 – 11 years old, it’s most recent Ofsted rating as Good. The school aims to take care of the mental, physical and emotional health of their students and is committed to creating an inclusive environment, where students are treated with dignity and respect. They anticipate and respond positively to different needs and circumstances so that all students can achieve their potential. The school is located closely to an underground station and has many local bus routes.
