    Location Details:

    Office-based role at our West Malling, Kent office.

    Hybrid working arrangement: Office days on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, with Wednesdays as work-from-home days. Key Responsibilities:

    As a Claims Officer, you will report directly to a Senior Management team member and take on essential duties, including:

    Providing administrative support and assisting with marketing initiatives.

    Offering ad-hoc support to the Claims, Recoveries, and Surveying teams.

    Acting as the first point of contact for clients, managing case files, and updating claim reserves via our claims management system.

    Liaising daily with clients, underwriters, surveyors, brokers, lawyers, and other third parties.

    Conducting sanction and conflict of interest checks as directed.

    Managing diaries and deadlines effectively.

    Acknowledging receipt of funds and maintaining professional relationships with all clients.

    Essential Skills & Attributes:

    Basic proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    Excellent communication skills and experience in customer/client interactions.

    High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

    Familiarity with databases or portals.

    A positive and proactive approach to teamwork!
