Location: Vaughan, Woodbridge, North York, Richmond Hill, and surrounding areas
Position Overview:
LunarLock Security Agency is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mobile Patrol Security Guard to work night shifts in residential neighborhoods. The successful candidate will use their personal vehicle for patrols and will be reimbursed for fuel expenses, along with a contribution toward future maintenance costs.
Salary:
• Up to $24/hour (before mandatory deductions) plus additional compensations for the personal vehicle usage
• Full time employment
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive and patrol assigned areas, staying alert and focused for extended periods, regardless of weather conditions.
• Patrol on foot when needed and stay in the patrol vehicle for long durations during shifts.
• Prevent theft, violence, and rule infractions by monitoring premises.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and disturbances, coordinate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
• Write detailed reports of incidents, observations, and suspicious activities using company software (training provided).
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all security equipment is operational.
• Address confrontations calmly and professionally, de-escalating when necessary.
• Provide a visible presence to deter criminal activity and misconduct.
Requirements:
• Must be Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident only.
• Minimum of 5 years security experience, with a proven track record.
• Experience driving a patrol vehicle is a bonus.
• Must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR Certificate.
• Must have a G driver’s license with 5 years of driving experience and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Must own a car suitable for patrol use as per company policy.
• Must install company magnetic signs on the vehicle before each shift.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written).
• Able to restrict unauthorized access to secure areas and monitor alarms.
• Must have a personal cellular phone with data coverage to use company software and communicate with personnel or police.
