GUI Software Engineer - Contract
Positon: Contract GUI Software Engineer
Location: Remote (Occasional site visits to Oldham, Greater Manchester)
Rate: £55-60 per hour (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: 6 months
The Role:
KO2's client is seeking a skilled GUI Software Engineer to design and develop a touchscreen User Interface for a new electronic device on Linux. The user interface will control the device's functionality. Although an existing GUI is in place, the new product requires a more visually appealing and modern UI.
You will have the flexibility to choose the development language, with options including C++ Qt, Python, JavaScript, Rust, and Go.
Requirements:
Proven experience in GUI developmentDesirable:
Linux development experience
Experience with GUI touchscreens
