Your Role
Are you passionate about driving sustainability in PCB processes and DMF through engineering excellence? And are you an outstanding team player eager to deliver environmentally-friendly, high-quality hardware products? If so, we have an exciting new role for you, where you will make a significant and meaningful impact on your career and the planet!
You will be in hardware engineering, and play a senior go green CAD engineer role in developing and implementing sustainability strategies specifically focused on PCB processes and Design for Manufacturability (DFM).
You will be in close partnership with a cross functional team, and also the suppliers.
You will be based on our Suzhou office.
Your Contribution：
Design and develop PCB layouts for electronic products, ensuring compliance with project specifications and functional requirements.
Collaborate closely with hardware and mechanical engineers to optimize PCB designs for performance and reliability.
Utilize CAD tools to design and verify circuit boards, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.
Integrate sustainability considerations into design processes, including material selection, energy efficiency, and recyclability.
Stay informed on industry trends and new technologies, particularly in green design and sustainable development.
Work closely with PCB suppliers to source sustainable materials and promote environmentally responsible practices.
Lead initiatives to optimize PCB manufacturing processes for sustainability, including waste minimization and resource efficiency.
Identify, evaluate, and implement eco-friendly materials and sustainable manufacturing processes.
Willingness to proactively seek out and to travel nationally/internationally to attend conferences and trade shows for identifying new technologies.
Key Qualifications：
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in PCB layout design, familiar with design software such as Allegro, Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, etc.
In-depth knowledge of circuit design with the ability to apply concepts like signal integrity and thermal management.
An interest in sustainable development and a willingness to implement eco-friendly practices in design.
Good teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Familiarity with PCB/FPC process & SMT/Wave soldering/Assembly process.
Basic knowledge of PCB/PWA related IPC standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
