Position Summary:
We are looking for a CNC Brake Press Operator with experience using Amada equipment. In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain CNC brake presses to produce custom parts and components to meet our high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up and operate Amada CNC brake press machines to form, bend, and shape sheet metal
* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine machine setup and production specifications
* Adjust machine settings for different job requirements to achieve desired results
* Perform quality checks to ensure parts meet design specifications and tolerances
* Troubleshoot and adjust machinery as needed to maintain high-quality output
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications:
* Proven experience operating CNC brake press machines, preferably Amada
* Strong knowledge of CNC programming and sheet metal fabrication
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic understanding of safety practices in a manufacturing environment
