Hays Technology is looking for an IT Director to work with one of our clients on an interim basis for 6 months.
Our client is a public sector organisation based in the West Midlands, so the successful candidate will have strong public sector experience.
They are looking for a forward-thinking IT Director to lift the bonnet on the current IT function and provide meaningful insight into the strategy and progression of the function.
This role will involve:
Heading up the entire IT function
Continued development of the ICT strategy for the organisation
Evaluating the structure of the whole ICT Estate and identifying what needs improving/maintaining alongside a plan for how to do it.
Working on the restructuring of the IT function in the business
This role will be full-time, 2 days per week, in the office in the Birmingham area. The role will be looking to start as soon as possible to facilitate a handover period from the current Head of ICT.
