    EXAM INVILGILATORS:

    We are currently seeking an Exam Invigilator based in a lovely secondary school in London areas amazing opportunity to work for a co-educational secondary school and sixth form, aged 11-18.

    As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and fair conduct of GCSE and A-level examinations. This is a temporary, flexible position during examination periods, with opportunities for recurring assignments based on performance and availability.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Set up examination rooms according to provided instructions.

    Check identification and verify exam candidates' eligibility.

    Distribute and collect examination papers and materials.

    Maintain exam security and uphold integrity standards.

    Enforce exam regulations and guidelines.

    Provide assistance and support to candidates as needed.

    Monitor candidates during examinations to prevent cheating or irregularities.

    Handle any unexpected situations or disruptions calmly and professionally.

    Report any incidents or concerns to the appropriate authorities.

    Assist with post-examination procedures as required.

    Previous experience working in a school setting is advantageous but not essential for this role.

    Requirements

    Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

    Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

    Ability to follow instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality.

    Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanour.

    Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively.

    Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

    Vetting Process:

    Right to work: Candidates must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

    Enhanced DBS check: All successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. If you do not currently have an enhanced DBS check, registered to the update service, we can provide you with one at the cost of £46.50.

    Professional references: Candidates must provide three professional references. Personal email addresses will not be accepted as references.

    Candidates will need to download our principal education app, available for both IOS and Android users.

    Training: Successful candidates will need to complete a compulsory, online certified course before commencing work.

    Salary: Full Day £110 / Half Day £60
