Job Description
Are you a skilled DNS Administrator looking for your next challenge? Join our client’s dynamic team to manage and maintain their DNS infrastructure, ensuring smooth and secure network operations. As a vital part of their SEO department, you will play a key role in driving growth and success.
Location: Hybrid – Saint Julian's
Responsibilities:
As a DNS Administrator, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to: * Act as the technical lead for the applications domain and corresponding systems.
Prepare domain templates for brands to enhance searchability when launching new brands.
Identify SEO-friendly domain names to build private blog networks for selected brands and search volumes.
Manage the domain name portfolio across different providers, including Name.com, Namecheap, and GoDaddy.
Ensure domain security while maintaining company privacy standards.
Monitor industry trends and acquire SEO-friendly domains.
Track expired domains to secure them at optimal pricing.
Communicate with domain providers and owners to negotiate the best deals.
Requirements: * Minimum 2 years of experience in developing and executing SEO campaigns.
Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
Experience with SEO industry tools, including Google Analytics.
Full understanding of domain redirection techniques (301, 302, 307, 308, 404).
Good knowledge of domain structures, including subdomains, addon domains, and alias domains.
Strong understanding of DNS records (e.g., Cloudflare).
Experience with keyword research and data mining tools.
Ability to conduct competitive analysis within the industry.
Comfortable analysing large data sets.
Familiarity with WordPress CMS.
