About the job:
Based in Mons, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join the Resource Portfolio Management Office (RPMO) within the Directorate of CIS Support Units (DCSU). DCSU is the central management authority over the CSUs which provide Communications and Information System (CIS) products and services to locally based NATO entities across Europe, Asia and North America.
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Principal Assistant (Resource and Portfolio Management) who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
Participates in developing and monitoring budgets across the Directorate of CSUs;
Assists in the collection and preparation of required budget information;
Supports planning, scheduling and tracking resourcing activity;
Provides administrative services to project boards, project assurance teams and quality review meetings;
Uses recommended portfolio, program and project control solutions for planning, scheduling and tracking;
Assist in developing and planning personnel plans, projects and requirements to meet current and future demands in close coordination with the Chief People Officer to ensure alignment between DCSU and the NCIA Workforce strategy.

About you:
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
Higher vocational training in a relevant discipline with 3 years post-related experience, or a secondary educational qualification with 5 years post-related experience;
Experience in administrative and coordination functions, preferably in the areas of financial management, human resources and/or project management;
Experience in financial management within a customer-funding environment;
Experience in planning, preparation and production of budget submissions;
Experience in budget execution and resource management;
Experience in preparing reports;
Knowledge and experience in enterprise resource planning systems, project management processes, procedures and tools;
Experience and ability to interpret financial data and allocate budgets;
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
