    As Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a key role in managing the company's accounts payable function, ensuring that all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a business that values its employees. My client will also consider those who are looking for part-time work as a minimum of 25 hours a week.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and correct coding

    Matching, batching, and coding invoices for payment

    Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies

    Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely supplier payments

    Handling queries from suppliers and internal departments

    Assisting with month-end processes and reporting

    Supporting the wider finance team as requiredThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Purchase Ledger Clerk or accounts payable role, with strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy. They will possess excellent organisational and communication skills, be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and have a proactive and adaptable approach to work.
