PCPS Inc. is in search of a motivated and enthusiastic candidate for its Associate Field Technician position. The individual in this role will perform entry-level Field Services duties to gain knowledge and understanding of installation of fiberglass, concrete repair and coatings in various industries. Under supervision, the Associate Field Technician will work together with team members to complete the various service processes in a safe and expedient manner to prevent unnecessary down time for our clients and their operations.
-Responsibilities-
Essential duties of the position include:
• Overnight travel when required.
• Load/Unload PCPS Inc. vehicle
with proper equipment/products
for specific job assignment
• Ability to drive PCPS Inc.
vehicle(s); including Forklift;
Pickup Trucks, Box Truck; etc.
• Works with various chemicals and
materials including but not
limited to fiberglass, concrete,
epoxy, PVC among many others.
• Proper cleaning and operation of
PCPS Inc. equipment.
• Handle multiple tasks
simultaneously.
• Comply with all safety policies,
practices and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by
Project Manager.
-Technical Requirements-
Necessary technical skills and abilities include:
• Ability to read and understand
work instructions, documents,
correspondence, and memos.
• Effective communication skills
which include verbal and written
in English.
• Ability to perform basic
mathematical functions –
compute rate, ratio, and percent.
-Environment/Setting-
Typical work environment and setting:
• While performing the duties of
this job, the employee is
occasionally exposed to moving
mechanical parts.
• Noisy conditions periodically.
• Wet or humid conditions
(indoors).
• Working on ladders, rooftops,
bucket trucks, scaffolding, etc.
• Improperly illuminated and
confining workspace.
-Physical Requirements-
This is a physical job that requires the following skills:
• Ability to operate and lift weight-
bearing equipment that can
weigh up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to wear a respirator as
needed and/or required based on
assignment.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) for different
chemical processes as necessary.
• Standing, walking, reaching with
hands and arms, climb and
balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or
crawl.

• High school or equivalent
(Required).
• Driver's License (Required)
