Night Baker (Part Time)
This Independent in-house bakery that produces sourdoughs, ciabattas, pizza dough, and sourdough sandwich trays for the company’s 3 café/ restaurants is looking for a reliable night baker for 2 nights a week to cover the full-time night baker’s days off.
Duties will include all aspects of the preparation, baking and finishing of a full range of breads and sourdoughs in line with daily production targets. Everything is finished by hand with an obsessive eye for detail.
Required: Qualifications / Skills / Experience
Passion & enthusiasm for pastry, bread & raw ingredients
Several years’ experience in a similar bakery or patisserie
Creative flair
Team player with a strong work ethic
Meticulous, organized and punctual
We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable night baker with good commercial bakery experience, specifically the production of sourdoughs, and a “can do” attitude to work.
You must be comfortable working alone on the night shift and be capable of delivering a high standard product.
Monday and Tuesday 10pm to 6am
Salary: Up to £18 an hour dependent on experience
