For anyone else suffering with pain, the things that help me manage it are deep breathing techniques, gentle exercise with walking and swimming, moral support from friends and family and making sure I get plenty of sleep. Finally, distraction works wonders! We have a few tickets left for tomorrow night’s Mindfulness and the art of Hygge event where Gemma from @thehappinessbranch will be helping us unwind @theboudiccanorwich . stress Naast perfectionisme, waar ik vorige week over sprak, is haast een hoofdoorzaak van stress. Van de 60 mensen die ik onder behandeling heb heeft meer dan 90% deze eigenschap in zich (recent onderzoek). Waarom zorgt haast nu voor stress? Ik wil je even meenemen naar mijn definitie van stress: 
Stress is datgene wat je ervaart als je zenuwstelsel ervaart of denkt dat hij een situatie niet aankan. 
Als je jezelf haast, zeg je tegen je zenuwstelsel: Het lukt mij niet om op tijd te komen, ik kan de situatie niet aan, dus……………..STRESS! 
Soms is het handig om iets snel te doen, maar laten we eerlijk zijn: een afwasmachine hoeft niet altijd heel snel opgeruimd te worden en de tafel kan ook wel eens iets langzamer worden gedekt. 
En vaak begint dit in de ochtend al, tenminste bij mij, als ik niet bewust ben. Je zenuwstelsel heeft niet lekker geslapen, heerlijk ontspannen en hup de stresshormonenfabriek is alweer aan de slag. 
Op welke momenten haast jij je? En zou dat anders kunnen?

stress Quando si guarda al solo peso corporeo della bilancia si è estremamente limitati ad un contenitore dove al suo interno sono racchiusi tantissimi elementi. 
Essere in “sovrappeso” è una categorizzazione troppo generica.

Bisognerebbe, infatti, definire il tipo di sovrappeso. 
Un soggetto con tanti muscoli e tanto grasso con una buona distribuzione dell’acqua potrebbe essere definito “SOVRAPPESO SANO”. Sicuramente sarà una “buona forchetta…”, vale a dire che ha un surplus di energia giornaliera che lo mettono sempre in accumulo. 
Andrebbe rieducato soprattutto a tavola con strategia alimentari “il giusto restrittive”. Un soggetto che presenta tanto grasso ma pochi muscoli può essere definito “SOVRAPPESO DESTRUTTURATO”. Il grasso la fa da padrone e l’acqua nel corpo è scarsa per mancanza di muscoli. 
Andrebbe indirizzato soprattutto alla “costruzione dei muscoli” e sana alimentazione. 
Un soggetto che presenta pochi muscoli e molta acqua extracellulare (ECW) può essere definito un “SOVRAPPESO INFIAMMATO”. Purtroppo è la categoria più complessa e delicata, dove si presentano spesso disfunzioni digestive, intestinali, stress, stanchezza cronica, dolori miofasciali, articolari, mancanza di sonno, “abbattuti” psicologicamente e altri disturbi legati soprattutto al sistema nervoso autonomo. 
In questi casi andrebbe rieducato prima lo stile di vita, giusti ritmi e tempi alimentari, sonno, riequilibrio posturale, approcci respiratori.

Calma, meditazione, relax ed il giusto stimolo allenante e “idoneo” approccio alimentare non solo quantitativo ma soprattutto qualitativo. 
Un allenamento contenuto, moderato ma “costruttivo” che miri a ricreare massa muscolare. 
Purtroppo quest’ultima categoria di sovrappeso è quella più vittima del “fitness commerciale”. Si punta alla rapida perdita del peso e l’illusione di tornare in forma, quando invece l’approccio con questi soggetti è molto delicato e deve essere giustamente dosato.

stress What. A. Day.
A bad mental health day mixed with getting my period 👌🏻
I made it through the work day and that in itself with how I felt this morning is a massive achievement.
I came home and knew I needed some self care and me time.
I ran a bath 🛁 (although the kids washed their bums and there was 0 hot water) so @cory_crappytohappy being the nice guy he is boiled the jug numerous times and pots of water on the stove until my bath was filled for me 💕 I chucked on a face mask and lay here for as long as I could u til the water was stone cold.
I had my 4th cry of the day. That’s okay. Sometimes it’s needed.
I’m going to do my nails. Moisturise my skin and get into bed

Essentiële olie in bad gebruiken is heerlijk! Meng de olien wel met een handje badzout. Olie en water mengt niet en dan blijft het er boven op drijven. En op deze manier los je dat op. 😜

"Be brave, my darling. You have faced dark times before and you are still here now." This post is a rough one for me but I just felt like it was time.... The past 7 months have been hard. I have experienced heartache and pain like I have never felt before. I have felt abandonment and loneliness like I have never experienced in my life. I have felt anger and resentment, confusion and chaos. The emptiness that I feel is deafening. As time goes on, I can now talk about it without bursting into tears but the void that is there still aches. It's like a piece of my heart and soul is gone and everyday I feel the ache. My whole life and soul felt like it was stripped away. The stress, heartache, and anxiety began to manifest and before I knew it I had maybe 2 strips of hair left. I tried so long to hide it but one day I realized there was no way I could hide it anymore and fighting through absolute fear and humiliation, I showed Brian. He looked at me with nothing but love in his eyes and told me how beautiful I was and how we would work through it together and then He said....just shave if off and start over. My heart was overwhelmed with his response and as He went to the store, I looked in the mirror and decided to take control and shaved it all off. Tears rolled my face with every scar that was exposed from something that tried to kill me at one point but Thankfully, I managed to overcome. When I finished, I walked up to Brianna and pulled the towel off my head with tears in my eyes and she wrapped her tiny arms around me and told me she loved me and how beautiful I was. My heart trembled when Brian came home and I showed him...but He wrapped his arms around me and told me how much He loved me and how gorgeous I was. (I seriously have the most incredible husband in the entire world.) I have hid under wigs and I have been so embarrassed for what seems like so long. I have literally secluded myself from people because I couldn't bare the thought of being close to someone and being ripped away again. I felt so embarrassed that my safe place has been my home...away from people. I know this post is extremely long and maybe to you....(comments)

stress Heard the term “cortisol” before? 
It’s usually used in reference to stress and body fat.But what is cortisol? 
Cortisol is actually good! It helps us regulate our stress response, which is something that, evolutionarily speaking, has been critical for our survival. Ages ago, cortisol used to be released when we were in a stressful situation, which usually meant being chased by a predator. These days, cortisol can be triggered by any number of everyday events - near misses on the highway, an argument in your relationship, or a tight deadline at work. When we’re constantly stressed out about things and living in overdrive, our bodies start signaling long-term stress. This results in a steady release of cortisol over time. Our bodies aren’t designed to exist like this in the long-term, so eventually it gets exhausted, gives up, and stops producing all that cortisol. 
This is what we erroneously refer to as “adrenal fatigue”. It also can lead to issues of sex drive, menstrual irregularities, estrogen dominance, and even fertility issues. Clearly we need to get these hormones back in balance!

Here are four tips you can share with your clients to reduce their cortisol levels:

Reduce stress. If the cause of too much cortisol is stress, the obvious solution is to reduce stress. You can support your clients in doing this by helping them take things off their plate and get clear on their priorities.

Self-care. Taking time for yourself is not selfish - it’s essential to healthy living in the 21st century. Taking a break from electronics and work to focus on what brings you joy can make a world of difference.

Eat a nutrient-dense diet.  you know that food changes everything - including balancing hormones. Eating a nutrient-dense diet that’s free of chemicals and preservatives will work wonders for your client.

Engage in healthy outlets. Channeling your energy into yoga, tai chi, meditation, or exercise can be extremely beneficial in helping to lower cortisol.

Go ahead and implement the above suggestions to get better health.

Zoals de meesten van jullie waarschijnlijk wel weten hou ik ontzettend van reizen. •

Ieder land is anders en in ieder land ontdek ik mezelf weer een beetje meer. •

Vaak droom ik met mijn vriend of vriendinnen over reizen die we nog kunnen maken. •

WHERE TO NEXT? 🌍 • Zoals de meesten van jullie waarschijnlijk wel weten hou ik ontzettend van reizen. • Ieder land is anders en in ieder land ontdek ik mezelf weer een beetje meer. • Vaak droom ik met mijn vriend of vriendinnen over reizen die we nog kunnen maken. • Een Volkswagen bus omtoveren tot camper en dan naar het noorderlicht in Noorwegen. Of nieuwe culturen ontdekken in Azie. Ik word daar zo enthousiast van dat ik vaak meteen mijn spullen wil pakken en een vlucht wil boeken. Lekker impulsief! 🙃 • Ik ben trots op de reizen die ik gemaakt heb en de landen die ik bezocht heb. Bij elke reis heb ik mezelf namelijk weer een beetje overwonnen. Vorige week schreef ik dat ik me hiervoor inschreef zonder te weten wat ik ging doen op een markt zonder producten om te verkopen.

Afgelopen week kreeg mijn idee steeds meer vorm met als resultaat een super toffe dag met waardevolle, mooie gesprekken!
.
Ik gaf bezoekers een ‘FeelGood Moment’ voor thuis; een zakje Happy Monday thee met een paar pepernootjes.
.
‘Hoe is de maandag voor jou?’ vroeg ik. 
Leuke, ontroerende en interessante gesprekken volgden.
.
Een moeder vertelde met tranen in haar ogen over haar dochter die ze het zakje ging geven. Ze had een zware tijd...
.
Een dame vertelde dat ze meer in haar mars heeft en dit op haar 50ste nog gaat onderzoeken.
.
En ik sprak een jonge knul die elektrische auto’s gaat verkopen als hij later groot is want dan verdient hij veel centjes!
.
Dat knulletje zette me aan het denken... 🤔 
Werken voor veel geld, wie is niet groot geworden met dit idee? Wie denkt er nog zo over?
.
Ikzelf vind het veel belangrijker dat je iets doet waar je blij van wordt. Dat is dus ook wat ik tegen hem zei: ‘Je wordt vast blijer van werk wat je leuk vindt dan alleen van veel centjes?!
.
Hopelijk onthoud hij de wijze les van de mevrouw met de pepernoten...

Hallo ihr lieben. Bei mir ist es immer noch ziemlich trubelig. Nun ist zu der allgemein schwierigen Situation auch noch mein kleiner krank geworden, der Montag Geburtstag hat. stress Havde en klient der havde lidt af angst siden hun var lille. Angsten gjorde altid, at hun havde svært ved at få luft. Havde gået i behandling hos lægen, men det blev ikke rigtig bedre. Efter et par sessioner hos mig, hvor vi arbejdede med angsten, havde hun været hos lægen igen. Hun mærkede selv, at hun bedre kunne få luft efterhånden som angsten slap. Da hun fortalte lægen at hun gik i terapi for sin angst, svarede han, hvem det end er du snakker med, så bliv ved med det.

Måske tankefeltterapi kunne være den rigtige hjælp for dig, så du kan komme videre. 
Tankefeltterapi kombinerer Østens viden om kroppens energibaner med vestens samtaleterapi. Behandlingen består i, at energibanerne (meridianerne), kendt fra bl.a. akupunktur m.m. stimuleres med en let banken forskellige specifikke steder på kroppen, samtidig med at man fokuserer på sit ubehag.

Mange oplever, at selv langvarige behandlingsforløb i traditionelle terapiformer viser sig at være uden effekt. Man har måske opnået en dyb forståelse af problemet og den bagvedliggende årsag. Problemet er bare at kroppen stadig gemmer på en ubevidst refleks i sin cellehukommelse, der gør, at når man trigges, så vender ubehaget tilbage. Det er derfor nødvendigt at tænke i krop/tanke/følelse som en HELHED, når man behandler psykiske og fysiske problematikker, og det er her tankefeltterapi (TFT) og emotionel frihedsteknik (EFT) kommer ind billedet.

Havde en klient der havde lidt af angst siden hun var lille. Angsten gjorde altid, at hun havde svært ved at få luft. Havde gået i behandling hos lægen, men det blev ikke rigtig bedre. Efter et par sessioner hos mig, hvor vi arbejdede med angsten, havde hun været hos lægen igen. Hun mærkede selv, at hun bedre kunne få luft efterhånden som angsten slap. Da hun fortalte lægen at hun gik i terapi for sin angst, svarede han, hvem det end er du snakker med, så bliv ved med det. Måske tankefeltterapi kunne være den rigtige hjælp for dig, så du kan komme videre. Tankefeltterapi kombinerer Østens viden om kroppens energibaner med vestens samtaleterapi. Behandlingen består i, at energibanerne (meridianerne), kendt fra bl.a. akupunktur m.m. stimuleres med en let banken forskellige specifikke steder på kroppen, samtidig med at man fokuserer på sit ubehag. Mange oplever, at selv langvarige behandlingsforløb i traditionelle terapiformer viser sig at være uden effekt. Man har måske opnået en dyb forståelse af problemet og den bagvedliggende årsag. Problemet er bare at kroppen stadig gemmer på en ubevidst refleks i sin cellehukommelse, der gør, at når man trigges, så vender ubehaget tilbage. Det er derfor nødvendigt at tænke i krop/tanke/følelse som en HELHED, når man behandler psykiske og fysiske problematikker, og det er her tankefeltterapi (TFT) og emotionel frihedsteknik (EFT) kommer ind billedet.
