“The PilatesBarre has changed my life in so many ways! I wake up at 5am everyday to get in a good workout. I go each day because it’s a workout I can’t go without! It has changed my body, strengthened my core and helped my daily routine with major sleep improvements that help with my busy, long days at work! I also love all my new bffs... the instructors and staff at TPB!” -Julia B. slaying us with her PilatesBarre testimonial 😍
It’s #nationalbeeday !Let’s talk pollinators. Pollination by insects is called entomophily. Entomophily is a form of plant pollination whereby pollen is distributed by insects, particularly bees, butterflies and moths, flies and beetles. What this means is the pollinators, such as bees are part of the reproduction process of numerous plants. Bees are currently on the endangered species list, yet NOTHING is being done by our goverment to protect them. And we humans are not exactly helping either with our chemical spraying. What people need to understand is that chemicals do not discriminate. No chemical and no antibiotic, only kills the bad guys. 🐝
So let’s close our eyes and imagine a world without bees because this is where we are headed if we don’t choose to live differently. What foods disappear when the bees disappear? Here we go: coffee, strawberry, onion, celery, carrot, watermelon, cantaloupe, cashew, beet, Brazil nut, cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, chili pepper, bell pepper, tangerine, lemon, lime, coconut, orange, grapefruit, cucumber, pumpkin... and the list goes on. Are we seeing how important pollinators are to our food supply yet?
So what can WE do? We can stop spraying chemicals in our yards. We can plant flowers that bees and butterflies love. Educate ourselves about nature, connect with it, understand our role in it. Live a life that supports the environment, not one that destroys it. Understand that we are part of this intelligent and purposeful ecosystem and we have the power to save it. Let creation be our guide, it’s smarter than we are. It can teach us things, connects us. It is asking us NOW to help it. Join me in loving on these furry little beauties and treating them with the reverence that they deserve as part of the regeneration of our earth. #bees#savethebees🐝 #plantphotography#foodpics#vegetables#plantbased#healyourself#healthylifestyle #healthylife#dallaslifecoach#southlaketexas #plantbasedlife #vegetables#vegetarian#healyourlife#eatmoreplants#southlake#pollinators
