I’ve told you before that I’m traveling with @springtimetravel to Portugal and New York this autumn. In October I’m off to Portugal to coach two classes a day for a week and in November I’m off to New York to run my dream race: New York City Marathon! Can’t wait for these two trips to take place!

For some Fitness & Training is a way of getting healthier & maybe using it as a mechanism or a catalyst to make lifestyle improvements! ✌🏻🏃🏻
Fitness can be whatever you want it to be - it should become a lifestyle choice that you commit to long term & you should enjoy it too!
Fitness shouldn’t be for a set time or X amount of weeks - living a healthy lifestyle should be a 52 week program that carries on for years!
So if you like resistance training & lifting weights then do that, if you like running then run, if you like spinning go spinning, if you prefer yoga or zumba then do that, if you prefer walking over all them then walk!!!
There is no “one way - it has to be”
Fitness means different things to different people! For some it’s a personal challenge, for some it’s a group or team thing, for some it’s an outlet or an escape for the madness of life or fitness can be use to change your life for the better!
Either way we’re all in it to do better and become better! No matter what fitness is for you, enjoy it, look at it long term not short term and slot it in as part of your long term lifestyle - it’s the best way to get results! 😊✌🏻

We are all a work in progress. Be patient & trust the process. Change doesn’t happen overnight & change doesn’t happen without putting in the hard work.
These past 6 years haven’t been just about 5k progress. They’ve been about persistence, dedication, passion, resiliency and the drive to improve. Without all that, I wouldn’t be where I’m at today. There are no shortcuts. It takes time, but progress will happen.
Dream big, guys. The older I get the bigger my goals get😜🤘🏽

Finished with a good time but more importantly spent a sunny day running round London with my good friend watching over me and rasing awareness for Testicular Cancer.
Dylan was a great friend and footballer who was taken far too soon. I’ll never forget all the good times and laughs.

Ran my first @chimarathon at 30 years old. Now here I am, blessed to be running it for the third time this year.
Chicago birthed my love for running, as I never ran for the love, but moreso a necessity during my decades as an athlete. However some precious things I learned through this journey is: it is never too late to start running, nor is there one distinctive measure that defines a runner. Run a mile a day or run a marathon... just run & enjoy the journey y’all.

Nothing like getting those electrolytes back into your body! Especially after that HOT HOT HOT run 😓🏃♂️ the plan was 10 Miles but by mile 6 I wasn't feeling it so I settled for 7. Sometimes you've gotta be wise and forget about the plan. Other than that my legs felt good 👊 and I'm happy with that pace considering the heat 🔥 .
Hope everybody else is getting out for runs be it a couple of miles or longer. It's certainly much tougher in this weather so anything is an achievement in my opinion! Keep drinking that water, be extra careful and do your stuff 👌 just because it's hot doesn't mean you have to sack off altogether, you've just gotta get the balance right!
Enjoy the weather guys and don't let it stop you from achieving your goals! 🎯🎯🎯
