Mudkip, I choose you. 🥰 (Fun fact - Mudkip’s name was almost Brutus because I thought it’d be cute to give a big name to such a tiny thing. I went with the funny option instead and named a desert gecko a water Pokémon. Plus, Mudkip’s just a little bit cuter hehe)
Big Mudkip smile to say thank you for 1k. 💕
I’ve learnt so much in the last month of owning Mudkip. Entering the reptile community has opened my eyes to all the different species out there and I can’t wait to learn even more! The love I have for Mudkip is so different to anything else I’ve ever felt and I think that’s so special. Thank you for loving him from behind the screen & following me on this journey of watching him grow. 💞
Hahaha what a cutie he is.
You don’t have to look too far to realize where the Armadillo girdled lizard got its name. As a defense when threatened, the armadillo lizard wraps itself into a ball gripping its tail to protect the one part of its body that is fragile enough for a predator to get to, the underside. They originate from the southwest coast of Africa, part of the girdled lizard family (Cordylidae) with over 80 species total! Armadillo girdled lizards in the wild prey on a variety of Arthropods such as crickets, spiders, termites, and centipedes. 🐉 (Ouroborus cataphractus)

Pets are beloved, precious family members and need to be thoughtfully planned for, not acquired on a whim. You need the time, love, money, care, resources if you want to have one. Otherwise you should enjoy visiting animals in nature or at a local park/sanctuary/zoo - enjoyable without the daily responsibilities ❤️🙏
