Oh my good I just had the biggest scare of my life. My Dinosaur aka Asian Water Monitor got out of his enclosure and then outside because I forgot to lock it😱😱. It took me about 15-20 minutes to get him because he freaked out when he saw me coming towards him with a towel. First he tried to run up the fence to the neighbors yard then tried to tail whip me. Finally ran right past me super fast across the street under the neighbors cars. I got him put him back into his enclosure. While back in his enclosure I found out he got into the roach (his food) enclosures and ate a bunch of them before escaping the house. I am filled with so much anxiety right now. My emotions are all other the place. I feel like crying, laughing, yelling at him. I am just grateful that I found him when I did and he is now safe in his enclosure with it locked. I am so glad he didn’t try to bite me at all in this whole process he only scratched me. #reptile#monitorlizars#dinosaur#moderndinosaur#lizard#watermonitor#asianwatermonitor#happy#love#scared#excited#thankful#scratched#blood#bleeding#scales#tail#reptilian@lifeofzander@talkingserpents@tikisgeckos
This morning a villager had a snake crawl up his trousers while sweeping the floor. Out of panic, he hit the snake and injured it. However, after consulting with the vet we decided there was nothing we could do, and as it was still able to move normally and flick it's tongue, we immediately released it back to its habitat. This is Malayan racer (Coelognathus flavolineatus), nonvenomous snake.
