Summer spinach pasta salad by @alchemy_ldn 🌿 The pasta itself contains spinach, with a few extra leaves mixed in for good measure. Along with edemame beans, sundried tomatoes, pine nuts, and lemon. The recipe for the cheesy vegan sauce below! 🍅🥬🥗
- 4tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
- 4tbsp almond milk
- 1tbsp turmeric powder
- 1tbsp coconut oil
- 1tbsp sriracha mayo
- dash of black pepper and salt
1) Mix all ingredients together until smooth
2) Add to your dish
Who doesn’t love a creamy fettuccine?✌🏻🤤💕 I’ve spend the past five days with my niece, sister-in-law and brother 👏🏻💗💫 They went home this morning and my apartment felt so empty and quiet all of a sudden 😢 I’ve been m.i.a. in stories just because there’s nothing I love more than hanging with my niece, so I naturally cling on to my phone less👌🏻❤️✨ Have you guys enjoyed the weekend?💁🏼♀️
today’s lunch was a BLT- eggplant bacon, spinach, tomato, sautéed onion, balsamic glaze. Pretzels with garlic hummus and a berry smoothie to finish it off. [ smoothie is made with blueberries, cherries, strawberries, chia seeds and water ]

I had a few leftover falafel as well and they went great with this! On an unrelated note, the heat in Austin this weekend is exhausting. What do you do when it's too hot to go outside? ☉
🍇Gain muscle and strength on fruits?🍉 Yeah of course.🍇Many have told me that they are scared of fruits because you will get too skinny 🧐Well I like modesty but I wanted to inspire you and to tell you I ain’t skinny and I can outperform most half my age in strength, speed and endurance. 🍇Love yourself for you deserve it - get to nature and fruits and let them heal you - nothing feels better then health and you deserve it. 🍇If you want a firm body this can give it to you.🍇My diet is low calories and I don’t even eat high calorie fruits like avacados or bananas but I can still #buildmuscle.
My diet normally is:
👉Lemon water or my Breakfast after a 12-14 hour fast
👉Then 32 ounces orange juice for lunch 👉Then dates for snack 🤜Then a fruit bowl for dinner 👆that’s very low in calories but I still build #musclemass. 🧐🍉 🍇look at nature - an ape or gorilla can rip a man apart and they don’t eat meat or protein ( in their natural environment they are fruitarians)🍊
A horse or buffalo is bursting with muscle and they don’t eat protein ( they are raw vegan)- all the bioavailable amino acids are in the fruits and veggies.
🤗I train 1-2 times a week ( on weekends only) to gain muscle and gorilla strength🍉🍊

From the first months of this year I’ve put on some weight for a couple of reasons but I won’t go into them this time. First I thought it was the end of the world because I had maintained the previous weight for quite a while and to be honest that still freaks me out a little. But what if I could just accept it and move on?
Weight changes all along our lives. We grow in height so we also grow in weight. We gain and lose muscle, we may give birth and our eating habits change. Even our hormones and menstrual cycle can affect our weight every month. Change is normal. Change is okay.
Diet culture has made us believe that our weight is something we should control but that really isn’t the case. Maybe giving up the control feels scary. Maybe gaining weight feels scary but rather than immediately trying to take the control back by going on a diet we could sit with the feeling, mourn and then realize that it wasn’t a deal that big after all.
We spend so much time telling our bodies what they should look like but what if we just simply made peace with our reflections? Nothing, not even any diet, will ever make us more beautiful than accepting ourselves, being comfortable in our own skin and showing it to the world, and all that can happen at the higher weight.

Fruits with super creamy and pretty pink fruit dip by the lovely @thefirstmess ✨
SNEAKY BEET FRUIT DIP
SERVES: makes 2 ½ cups
NOTES: I prefer coconut milk-based yogurt for this dip because of its richness. If you use a vanilla-flavoured yogurt, you can skip the dates and vanilla extract!
½ cup diced cooked beets
2 cups plain plant-based yogurt
5 pitted dates, soaked in hot water for 5 minutes and drained
1 tbsp vanilla extract
½ tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp lemon juice
In a food processor fitted with the “S” blade, combine the diced beets, yogurt, dates, vanilla, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Run the motor until you have a smooth and silky pink dip, stopping the machine and scraping down the sides of the bowl a couple times. Check the dip to see if you’d like more dates for sweetness, more lemon etc. This dip keeps in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days.

I'm usually all about BOWLS in my life: salad bowls, buddha bowls, smoothie bowls.... name it, anything in a bowl and it's definitely a good idea! but here's an exception I'm willing to repeat more often, cause plates can be cool too 😂! and on top of it, it's some sexy leftovers served with a generous serving of #dukkahspices. I already told you about that spice blend in my last post (go check it out if you haven't already!) and you can find the recipe on the blog, but I'm trying to give you more reasons to make some for yourself lol! mainly because it's so FREAKING good! 😋

Last week I ordered a morrisons shop online and got a wonky veg box 🥕
Very impressed with how much yet get and it was a nice change from the usual veg we buy 🥬
You get so much that today I decide to make a slow cooker full of bean and veg stew with mash to try and use some up, it was delicious but we still have loads left 🤔

I ran into this wonderful teammate of mine(who was just 1 place off from podium woot woot!!) while waiting to toe the line for the swim start. I was fighting back tears of trepidation as I watched wave after wave of swimmers bounce into the water, knowing I hadn't been in open water in over a year.
Kristen came up to me, gave me encouragement and advice, and I got in the water full of confidence. I busted out a sub 1 hour ride, got a PR and FINALLY got my sub 2 hour sprint I've been shooting for since starting triathlon. Sprint #3 is in the books and I'm so grateful for this @baseperformance team, as always!!!!! Congrats to everyone who raced today! 📸: @oconnorsteph7
The Vegan Earl Grey doughnut from @cartemsdonuts!!! 😆
This is a cake doughnut infused with an organic earl grey tea, topped with earl grey glaze and a sprinkling of rose petals 🙌
I was so shocked by this!!! It’s light and fluffy, the cake is PERFECT 👌 and the glaze is wonderful!!! Honestly, it’s now one of my favourites from Cartems 😍
