♾ Euler series ♾
Happy PI approximation day! 🎊 Actually, I don’t know if that is a thing, but we can certainly celebrate it! 🙈 How many digits of PI do you know? Did you know there is a language made of the number PI? 😄
I know only 7 digits, but my good friend knows 1300 digits of PI! 😱
I will share a few facts about the number PI and feel free to add more in the comments! 🙃
As you might know, PI is probably the most intriguing number for many scientists. Not only that this number is irrational (can be written as a simple fraction: 22/7 😄) it is also transcendental (it is not algebraic; that means, it’s not a root of a non constant polynomial equation with rational coefficient - that was mouthful 😂). Also, PI continues in infinity without repetition or a pattern!!! 😱
Google employee, a girl name Emma, calculated PI up to 32 trillion digits. It took her 121 days, 25 virtual machines and 170TB of data! 😳
Another fun fact is that number 3.14 when seen in mirror reads word PIE! 🥧
And if you ever learn a language made of number PI, there is a book you can read. It’s called “Not a Wake”. 😄
There is also an argument about usefulness of the number. Many think using TAU ( = 2*PI) is way more easier and intuitive! #eulerseries ————————————————

World-Changers, are you getting ready for Back To School? We want to draw attention to our Education Collection on PI Approximation Day (or Casual Pi Day). Let’s chat about PI for a second…
The symbol is a Greek letter, and it is used in mathematics to represent the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter. The first digits of this ratio are 3.14159, and the number continues infinitely without a pattern, being an irrational number. It has been calculated to over one trillion digits after the decimal point. The symbol "π" was first used in 1706 by William Jones. It gained in popularity after being used by Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler in 1737.
Did you get all that!?!? If you are a math person, it was music to your ears! If you have more creative or language-driven strengths, it probably sounded like Greek… Well, it is Greek, but it sounded confusing, right?!?! This is why we love our teachers and want to honor them on PI Approximation Day. It is the perfect time to order a tee from The Education Collection for a favorite teacher in your life since many graphics are 20% OFF. They are our children’s future! You will also be supporting education cause partners who are making a difference in our children’s lives every day.

Birlik bilincinin kapısıdır din. Allah'a duyulan sevgidir.

This was a fun custom journal for a math teacher who loves pi (3.14)... so we tediously stamped the first several digits on the front inner pocket (2nd pic)😅. The recipient loved it (thank goodness!😄 #littlehousejournals
El PI es un número que nos dio mucho dolor de cabeza al estudiar pero es algo que utilizamos en nuestra vida cotidiana sin darnos cuenta ¿Y tú para que lo utilizas? 😏
