December 2018 verse December 2019. Working out is a journey and I grind each and everyday. I take 5 grams of creatine monohydrate daily which has increased muscle mass and anaerobic capacity. Additionally, I have committed to eating more calories and have focused on increasing my protein and carbohydrate intake.
I’d be remiss though if I didn’t say that I have not struggled. We all do, and it’s important to not lose site of the fact that it’s not just what’s on the outside, but to love yourself on the inside. We are unique and that is what makes us special. Social media can make it seem like everything is perfect. But as well all know, this is a far cry from reality. It’s important to not get caught up in comparing ourselves to others, because we can only focus on being the best version of ourselves. Taking a step back and realizing that no matter how stressed you are and how much crap may be going on in your life, SO many people have it SO much harder. They have a FRACTION of what you have. And yet they are happy. They are thankful. They are thanking god for what they do have and not even remotely caring about what they don’t. Life gets hard, but don’t forget you are exactly where you are supposed to be. Whether it be on cloud 9 or in the worst depressive state of your life. There is a reason for it. Push through the hard times, and be thankful for them. You may have taken them on because someone else couldn’t handle it. ❤️ Love y’all. Happy and healthy holidays 😘

Acceptance is about allowing people, experiences, situations to be just as they are right now. And this is challenging at first because our instinct to change, fix, control and be in resistance to something that on the outside may not be what we desire.
When we resist acceptance of ourself, others and/or our life circumstance we get stuck in this bottomless pit of our ego mind... where there will never be enough.
Acceptance is the flow where there is enough and you can flow down the metaphorical river.
Just because you find a way to accept where you are (maybe with your health, weight, finances, relationships, etc) Does not mean you have to like it or that you don’t desire change and something different.
It’s simply means that you trust and your spiritual core knows that within acceptance of reality, right now, you can make profound change and find greater wisdom.
If you cannot accept where you are, then you will not only find it hard or impossible to access states of joy and happy but you will feel like you are constantly in resistance to your life.
How do you know if you are not accepting?
Listen to your body.
Physical breakdowns and issues often show us where we are in resistance and not accepting reality.
Accepting where you are at, even if you don’t like it, is the only way to move forward. -Renee
