How much time do you spend in nature? For me one of the biggest keys to a juicy libido is the time I spend with Mother Nature.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s something so refreshing, alive and invigorating about being outside that I want to be there all the time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And science will back me up. According to a study done by the University of East Anglia, living close to nature and spending time outside has significant and wide-ranging health benefits -- according to new research. Revealing that exposure to greenspace reduces the risk of type II diabetes, cardiovascular disease, premature death, preterm birth, stress, and high blood pressure.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And that’s just the start. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Being in the beauty of nature is lowering your stress levels, hence dropping cortisol and giving your body a chance to get back to a “pleasure state” - which we cannot do in flight/fight mode ie. high cortisol. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So there it is. One simple way you can boost your libido , just head outside 😉🌿⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Instagram ate my last video so let’s try this again 🤞
| 🍑 | I printed this tote bag for a block printing workshop demo I taught a few weeks ago | I’m working on a small batch today so I should have a few of these peachy totes added to my web store on Saturday (8/24) | Thank you for the kind response to my original post! .
I’m using @speedball_art block printing fabric ink on Speedy Carve. It’s an oil-based Ink that air cures in about 1 wk |
I dreamt of seeing a toucan when I came to Brasil... not only did I discover them at the Parque das Aves Bird Sanctuary, they also flew over our boat whilst we were on the Iguasu River ❤️🧡🖤 🥰 The Parque das Aves does outstanding work against bird smuggling and works so hard to help native species on the brink of extinction. #begentleonourearth#parquedasaves#toucan#inspiredbynature

hello there, bambino love 🌿 feeling a little lost after learning of my grandfather’s death yesterday morning. perhaps a little guilty for not visiting him as often as i should’ve. he smoked like a trooper but even at the age of 93years, he was still managing hectares of land amongst the pineapples, dragonfruit, durian and jackfruit in the middle of the rainforest. it kept him young, i guess. i wasn’t as close to him as i am to my grandad (mum’s side) due to the physical distance amongst us. my aunty was saying that my grandfather had been waiting for all his remaining children to arrive but simply couldn’t hold on for much longer for dad to arrive- my parents had booked flights for their annual holiday next week. some of his last words wondered when dad was going to arrive. speaking to dad yesterday and hearing his voice break and cry, literally broke my heart you see, out of dad’s other eleven siblings and their families, dad was the only one who migrated to australia in the ‘90s for a better future for not only himself but for his future wife and children. growing up, dad was a very stern man, bought up with a much different lifestyle and work ethic to us in the more modern world. my grandparents didn’t even have a flushing toilet and electricity until three years ago and that’s exactly how they loved their lives. i am truly blessed to have been bought up with great discipline by my strict parents but i see it now, as a wiser adult who left home at the age of 20, that it was truly for the best; helping me gain my truest values and beliefs after simply the moments of life. moments like this, i am the most truly grateful for our privileged childhood; looked after, nourished and supported by the most humble people on earth. this is a gentle reminder that the next day is never guaranteed therefore, do what you dream of, be kind, love those who mean most to you and lose focus of the minor worries of life. 🌿
Leave the familiar for a while.
Let your senses and bodies stretch out
Like a welcomed season
Onto the meadows and shores and hills.
Open up to the Roof.
Make a new water-mark on your excitement
Like a blooming night flower,
Bestow your vital fragrance of happiness
Upon our intimate assembly.
Change rooms in your mind for a day.
All the hemispheres in existence
Lie beside an equator
In your heart.
In your thousand other forms
As you mount the hidden tide and travel
All the hemispheres in heaven
Are sitting around a fire
While stitching themselves together
Into the Great Circle inside of
– Hafiz, ALL THE HEMISPHERES
My daughter loves to write letters and draw pictures for the fairies. She would leave them around her room and then come to me disappointed in the morning because the fairies hadn’t taken them. Most likely because mummy wasn’t aware she had left them out 😳
I was in need of making something she could pop all her letters in and make it easy for me to check each night. I came up with the idea of this cute little leaf pocket that could be easily hung and moved around. Now we are all happy, the fairies now know what letters are for them and I have no more disappointed little faces in the morning. I surprised Lacie with it the other day and her excitement was just the best thing ever. I just love making special handmade pieces and this sweet little koala was the perfect little detail to add for my daughter, seeming how much she loves koalas. ✨🐨
I have just returned from a trip to see family on a beautiful mountain in Alabama. The beauty there always surprises me all over again.

Here's to the women who know where they're going and won't stop until they get there. The ladies who aren't afraid to let their voices be heard. The ones who have taught us to love boldly, care passionately and stand proud, lifting each other up ❤

Digestive Tincture bottled and ready today! This one has lemongrass harvested and dried from my garden, ginger and calendula. I love calendula in digestive formulas for its healing action on the gastrointestinal tract and ginger is a great stimulant to help boost digestive fire.
Been a busy couple of days! I gave a zendoodle class, had an art gallery reception, and had to pick up my art from the MO state fair. I am super tired! But I still managed an underpaint for a glasswing butterfly. Fingers crossed this goes well!
Flower arches aren’t just a random tradition - they’re an opportunity to create a personal space within a space! They are a backdrop for one of the biggest moments of your life! 💚 If you’re not sure what you want, I love collaborating with couples to create something unique to them and to the time and space. Or if you are lucky enough to have a family member or friend building you something special, I would love to cover it in flowers for you!! ☺️☺️✨ This beautiful structure was hand made by the bride’s father from trees on their property. It was such an honor to be trusted to incorporate it into the floral vision! 🌿🌿🌿
