I just needed an excuse to post this song.😊
Killing snakes. I’ve come a long way from where I started, but I still have some ways to go. This is my first attempt at hand lettering. I’m having fun with it.
I think I finally have an idea where I want to take this. What would you like to see me do with it?

Some of my favorite moments in teaching are the ones that students guide through curiosity. Last year, in second grade, we were talking about the desert and cactus. When I told the kids that there was water in the cactus, they looked very perplexed and asked what it looked like inside. So.. instead of just pulling up google images, I went to @loweshomeimprovement and picked 6 different #cactus plants and some goggles and dissecting items for the kids to use. The next day, we cut them open and they got to see for themselves what water inside a plant looked like. We also compared the root system of the cactus plants to the pumpkin seeds that had been sprouting 😍.. they remembered this lesson until the end of school 🥰..
What is your most memorable lesson in your classroom? (Whether you taught it to a class or your teacher taught it to you?!)
Manifesto Insight - I was asked this recently and it really got me thinking 💭 🤔
What are those mantras that I live my life by? Those sentences that I say to steer me and keep me on track in the good times and the during the challenging times?
By definition, Manifesto means a public declaration of policy, aims, intentions, motives or views.
So here are some of mine:
1. Always do what’s right for you. After all you have to live with yourself 24/7 😉
2. Where there is a will, there is a way...always 👌
3. Everyone has potential, the magic happens when they choose to own it 😉💫
4. Treat others as you like to be treated.
5. Live life large! It’s not a dress rehearsal. I keep reminding myself of this one, as it’s easy to forget, lol 😂
Then there are my top 3 values, which form part of my thinking too, they are:
1. Financial Freedom and Choice
2. Well-being (Body, Mind & Soul)
3. Adventure and Inspiration
These are the things that keep me on track - what are yours?
The heart within you has an endless supply of inspiration and ideas that love to bubble to the surface. If you keep the mind silent, have faith in the abundance of the creativity that resides within you, and are receptive, you allow for new forms of art to flow from within.
“You have an infinite supply of wonderful and amazing universal secrets and creativity.” 😊
