Here are 8 tips to still enjoy eating at restaurants, without destroying the hard work that means so much to you:

1️⃣ Watch the sauce! Go look up the calories in a cheeseburger at a restaurant chain. It’s typically 1000-1500 in the burger alone. Those calories ain’t all coming from beef, cheese, and bun. High calorie sauces are sneaky as hell and ridiculously high calorie.

2️⃣ Going off of that have a plan! Maybe this advice should have gone last but keep these techniques in mind. Don’t say fuck it I’ll have what ever and don’t eat 4 oz of grilled chicken and water and get sad. Keep your goals in mind and look for the happy medium.

3️⃣ Wanna know what makes healthy low calorie food unhealthy and packed with calories? Frying it in vegetable oil. Skip the fryer at all costs.

4️⃣ Like I said before there can be a lot of sneaky calories in restaurant meals. Here’s an easy solution: look up their menus nutrition online before you leave the house. Rule out the handful of absurdly high calorie meals and now you don’t even have to worry about them.

5️⃣ & 6️⃣ When all else fails and you’re confused: stick to lean proteins and greens. Easy as that.

7️⃣ Here’s one of my favorites, order an appetizer (or two) for an entree! There’s no law saying you can’t have an app for a main course. 💁‍♂️ Sometimes apps have the best options and they’re almost always smaller in portion.

Since we are a company primarily operating in Luxembourg and believe in supporting local businesses wherever there is any potential for synergies, we have decided to put the company @luxlaitdairy in the spotlight today.

I have been personally eating their cottage cheese and drinking their chocolate milk for a few years now and I must say that from the perspective of my taste buds, both products by LuxLait taste the best out of all comparable products available in the Luxembourgish market. As Luxembourg is a wealthy country, with a quickly developing health and wellness industry, and people becoming very aware of what they eat, I also believe that Luxembourgish products are of peak quality.

Let’s continue by giving you a short nutrition take-away, starting with the healthiest of the three and moving towards the least, though all are very healthy:

Kefir is an excellent post-workout choice, as it contains easily available nutrients for the body. It also helps with treating all types of gastrointestinal problems. However, be mindful it is low in calories, so eat something soon after as well. Look at it as a protein shake.

Cottage cheese is my favourite of the three and is an excellent source of calcium, which is essential for any physically active person, but even more so for women after their 30’s, to combat osteoporosis. Furthermore, it is an excellent source of the casein, the slowly digestible protein which is an excellent choice before sleep. Cottage cheese is also indispensable as a healthy dressing for salads.

Last but not least, my most commonly used one. Chocolate milk. Though kefir has more health benefits, chocolate milk is actually an even better choice as a post-workout meal as it contains more sugar, which will enhance the replenishment of the depleted muscle glycogen stores.

🔥🔹 How to Diet at Restaurants 🔹👇 - One of the hardest parts about “dieting” is feeling like you have to sacrifice everything you love about food to achieve your goals. - While you do have to make sacrifices, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a happy medium. - Here are 8 tips to still enjoy eating at restaurants, without destroying the hard work that means so much to you: - 1️⃣ Watch the sauce! Go look up the calories in a cheeseburger at a restaurant chain. It’s typically 1000-1500 in the burger alone. Those calories ain’t all coming from beef, cheese, and bun. High calorie sauces are sneaky as hell and ridiculously high calorie. - 2️⃣ Going off of that have a plan! Maybe this advice should have gone last but keep these techniques in mind. Don’t say fuck it I’ll have what ever and don’t eat 4 oz of grilled chicken and water and get sad. Keep your goals in mind and look for the happy medium. - 3️⃣ Wanna know what makes healthy low calorie food unhealthy and packed with calories? Frying it in vegetable oil. Skip the fryer at all costs. - 4️⃣ Like I said before there can be a lot of sneaky calories in restaurant meals. Here’s an easy solution: look up their menus nutrition online before you leave the house. Rule out the handful of absurdly high calorie meals and now you don’t even have to worry about them. - 5️⃣ & 6️⃣ When all else fails and you’re confused: stick to lean proteins and greens. Today as I was drinking coffee and reading Marie Forleo's new book, she said that as Americans "we choose to spend $54 billion dollars a year on ice cream" AND I WAS shocked. So of course, I take a screen shot of that and send it to my biz bestie Kira. Even though we're both in the health world and we both research statistics we must have missed this one!! ⁣ ⁠ ⁣👉🏻We spend $384 million annually on fast food.⁣⁠ ⁣👉🏻And $42 million on cell phones...which is more than we spend on groceries.⁣⁠ ⁣👉🏻And $10 billion a year on theme parks.⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ ⁣Why do we NOT invest in things that make ourselves better? ⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ Why as a society we can find ALL the reasons on the planet not to buy organic coz it's "more expensive" and we even go on the hunt to watch documentaries and read articles to prove that "organic is fake"???⁣⁠ BUT we have NO problem spending $149 per Disneyland ticket ( the peak months). For a family of 4 that's $596. Then you gotta add parking and food inside the park. So you easily spend $800 for ONE day at Disneyland!! ⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ We spend outrageous amount of money on clothes, shoes, eating out, etc... AND when it comes to health ohhhh it's too expensive to eat healthy! It's too expensive to buy a program that's gonna make my life better. ⁣⁠ ⁣⁠ Since I can remember until I was 33 years old I didn't value my health and it didn't magically get better! That's why it's so important to eat salads in places that you can trust in! 🌷I remember I was terribly sick with a gastrointestinal disease after eating a salad in a not reliable place 😩! But this can also happen even in your safe home! If you want to keep your vegetables fresh and clean, follow this ideas:
🎈Submerge the vegetables in plenty watee with lemon and sodium bicarbonate for 10 min
🎈Clean with water for the second time
🎈Dry with kitchen paper
🎈Put the vegetables in a glass container (close it very good!)
🎈Take the portion your need every day! They will be fresh and nice during 1 week (and sometimes 2).

As any woman knows, losing weight isn't just about physical health, but emotional wellness as well. . For Griffiths, it was time to feel better in both of those realms. "I've always been about an average weight, but started to put on weight because of depression and an emotionally abusive boyfriend," she says. "We broke up, but I continued to put on weight, adding an additional 35 pounds over the next two-and-a-half years." To lose it, Griffiths focused on her diet: "I gave up almost all processed sugar and started to label read like it was a new hobby." With these simple changes (and no set diet!), she shed 28 pounds in a year. Even better, her healthier food choices gave her the energy to get back into running. "I've put on lean muscle through running and cross-training, and I'm working on training for my second half marathon," she says. Let's take a piece of fruit and a piece of white bread with no nutritional value.  Calorie wise they may be the same but when you look at the quality of the food item you will see two very different things.  Your body will for sure see them as two different things.  A piece of white bread as been processed and depleted of all of its nutritional value while a piece of fruit is loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber, healthy carbs... everything your body needs and wants to function. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In my seasonal program, Living Refreshed, I teach my clients how to start really looking at food instead of its value or calorie count.  I teach them how to uncomplicate the food systems we have been taught over the years and to focus on wholesome meals and real food. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

One of the hardest parts about “dieting” is feeling like you have to sacrifice everything you love about food to achieve your goals.

While you do have to make sacrifices, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a happy medium.

Here are 8 tips to still enjoy eating at restaurants, without destroying the hard work that means so much to you:
-

1️⃣ Watch the sauce! Go look up the calories in a cheeseburger at a restaurant chain. It’s typically 1000-1500 in the burger alone. Those calories ain’t all coming from beef, cheese, and bun. High calorie sauces are sneaky as hell and ridiculously high calorie.

2️⃣ Going off of that have a plan! Maybe this advice should have gone last but keep these techniques in mind. Don’t say fuck it I’ll have what ever and don’t eat 4 oz of grilled chicken and water and get sad. Keep your goals in mind and look for the happy medium.

3️⃣ Wanna know what makes healthy low calorie food unhealthy and packed with calories? Frying it in vegetable oil. Skip the fryer at all costs.

4️⃣ Like I said before there can be a lot of sneaky calories in restaurant meals. Here’s an easy solution: look up their menus nutrition online before you leave the house. Rule out the handful of absurdly high calorie meals and now you don’t even have to worry about them.

5️⃣ & 6️⃣ When all else fails and you’re confused: stick to lean proteins and greens. Easy as that.

7️⃣ Here’s one of my favorites, order an appetizer (or two) for an entree! There’s no law saying you can’t have an app for a main course. 💁‍♂️ Sometimes apps have the best options and they’re almost always smaller in portion.

8️⃣ And I know this one sucks, but you should’ve known it was coming. Restaurant desserts ain’t no halo top ice cream. They’re as packed with calories as food can possibly be. If nothing else you can split an order with the table right? 👊

2. Τα λεμόνια είναι πλούσια σε βιταμίνη C και σε φλαβονοειδή, που λειτουργούν ενάντια σε μολύνσεις από ιούς όπως η γρίπη και το κρύωμα.
3. Το λεμόνι είναι  τονωτικό για το συκωτι διαλύει το ουρικό οξύ και άλλα δηλητήρια και υγροποιεί τη χολή. 
4. Καθαρίζει το έντερο: Το λεμόνι αυξάνει την περίσταλση του εντέρου, βοηθώντας την κίνησή του, άρα βοηθώντας στην κανονική του λειτουργία. Ρίξτε το χυμό ενός λεμονιού σε ζεστό νερό και πιείτε το νωρίς το πρωί, αν έχετε σχετικό πρόβλημα.
5.Το κιτρικό οξύ του χυμού λεμόνι βοηθά στη διάλυση του χολόλιθου, των εναποθέσεων ασβεστίου και της πέτρας στα νεφρά
6.Τα λεμόνια έχουν αντιβακτηριδιακές ιδιότητες.
7.Καταπνίγει την πείνα και βοηθάει στην απώλεια βάρους.Τα ένζυμα και οι βιταμίνες του λεμονιού ρυθμίζουν το σάκχαρο στο αίμα και οι φυτικές ίνες καταπολεμούν τις λιγούρες. Ο χυμός λεμονιού ακόμη αυξάνει την παραγωγή χολής που βοηθάει την διάσπαση της τροφής κατά την πέψη.
