I’m learning on this journey of health something people are neglecting to speak about and thats our body’s ability to restore itself without 1 herb or one plate of veggies. What’s more important then what you put in the body is learning to access what’s inside the body and learning how to unlock it.
We are the masters of our universe and it’s time we put the power back in the hands of the people and teach them how to be the healers in their own homes. No one person is your healer be careful! With that! It’s time for us to not just know but we also have to know how to do it for ourselves. The unknown is being revealed
Inside of us is everything we need to live, survive, thrive, and even heal ourselves. For so long we’ve been taught to look outside of ourselves for everything but no one took to time to explain to us if we look within we will find what we need.

But our perception creates our reality!

I often get asked about how I discovered my food allergies. When I was about 13 it was actually my dad who discovered he had food intolerances or sensitivities. His number one issue was severe, daily migraines. So one day, after a particularly bad one over night, he went to the library for some research. He researched common foods that could be causing them and created a journal to log his food. He added a scale of 1-10 after every meal to rank the severity of his symptoms. Within a few weeks he had discovered several offending foods. Then we talked about his findings and how maybe, my cystic acne was tied to these same foods. I didn’t actually put pen to paper to journal but I did keep track mentally and learned that I shared many of the same foods.
When I was diagnosed with celiac my doctor used Cyrex lab tests to test my blood and found a bunch of new sensitivities or intolerances for me. I never journaled them either but I did pay attention to how my body responded to taking this food list out.
I have a lot of people tell me $$ for these tests is an issue. I totally understand. Journaling is free and it’s one of the first things I recommend.
Tracking your foods is a great idea even if you aren’t looking for allergies. It can help you understand your eating habits and food intake. Keeping a thorough journal is the best way to help yourself and your doctors/dietitians/nutritionist if there comes a time to review your findings with them.
Get more detailed than saying you had a ham sandwich. Write the type of bread, what condiments were added to it, how much of it did you eat, etc. How did you feel afterwards? Full, still hungry, bloated, achy joints or head, etc. My dad was even writing down a stick of gum.
There are other resources to help you, and utilize your local library.
There is a book called “The GAP diet”
There is another called “The Elimination diet”
Even Whole 30 does a great job talking about how to find food issues.
There is an app called “Food Intolerances” - it is a paid app though.
Keep in mind, some symptoms that lead you to look or consider food intolerances can also be related to other imbalances in our diets.

NO FRUIT FEAR-
Fruit are some of the most delicious, healing compounds on this planet. When I first learned that fruit fear was a real thing, I was shocked but the more I thought about it, I realized it made complete sense. Just like most diet propaganda, people have fallen for a deception, in this case the idea that fruit causes weight gain because of its sugar. That's just false.
The trendy high-fat diets of today are pushing fruit fear, putting fruit sugar and processed sugar on the same level instead of understanding the two. Fruit is not like your cupcake, soda can, or candy bar. It contains water, minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber- all essential components of our diets (and much much more). Fruit also:
~Supplies vitamin C, which we cannot live without
~ Fights aging through antioxidant content
~ Provides the right kinds of sugar, which our cells use as energy to run

You know that feeling of excitement when your about to do something big like land that new job or go out for date 2 with the perfect person and your energy level is *hightened* your riding a higher wave then usual. 🌊

Bc if you don't - soon that energy starts to move and grow and all of the sudden you become the *why me* person and this *always* happens to me and you write this story and attract that negativity into your life. ⤵️ So what story are you telling yourself?
