Total: $44 at @sprouts - this will last Evan and I probably 4-5 dinners and 2-3 lunches each, paired with some pantry staples we have at home (brown rice pasta, gf bread, pasta sauce, oatmeal, nut butters). The majority of our grocery spend is on fresh produce and quality meats, and I choose to prioritize my spending on items that make my body feel 💯plus I just really love food, ya dig?!

I first tried mushy peas on toast as a sort of experiment because I’d run out of avocado, but I fancied something more than just eggs on toast. Now I’m hooked. I like to add a drizzle of olive oil into mine and then spread them on toast, as honestly they’re just too good - a can of mushy peas is usually so cheap (this tin was 18p from Tesco), one of your five a day and a great source of protein and fibre! So tell me, would you try them on toast? 😂
Deets 🍞: two slices of seeded sourdough toast topped with mushy peas + olive oil, poached eggs, chilli flakes + black pepper, alongside wilted spinach + cherry tomatoes ✨
I also spread some marmite on my toast, as marmite and eggs together is a firm favourite, but that totally optional! 😜 #mylifeisforliving

SAVE THIS simple 5 ingredient healthy oat slice 🍌🍪 …
If you know me, you know I will have a cry me moment if something tastes good 😂 and let me tell you this was a cry me moment for sure…
So simple and soooo yummy 🤤. INGREDIENTS.
2 Cup Oats (rolled or quick oats). ½ Cup Walnuts crushed finely.
6 Tablespoon Peanut butter ( I used - PB powdered peanut - which turned out perfect). ½ Cup White (or any milk or dark whatever you prefer) choc button / chips.
1️⃣ Pre heat oven on 180 C / 350 fan forced.
2️⃣ In a bowl mash bananas with a fork, add the oats, peanut butter, choc chips and only ½ the walnuts (leave some for the top). 3️⃣Line baking tray / loaf tray and place the mixture.
4️⃣ Evenly spread the remaining walnuts on top.
5️⃣ Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden. Pierce with a fork / tooth pick and make sure it comes out dry.
6️⃣ Allow it to cool down for ½ hr (if you can wait) & slice to how ever many pieces you would like too & enjoy 🤤🤤. Make sure to tag 🏷 me in your photos if you make them so I can share on my stories….

How to make Greek Yogurt?
Ngược đời quá 😜 Đêm rồi mới đăng ảnh bữa sáng. Tại bây giờ mới có thời gian ngồi viết.
Trong hình bát màu tím kia là sữa chua Hy Lạp xay cùng thanh long đỏ, toping quen thuộc là nho khô. Sữa chua Hy Lạp này không đường vị béo béo ngậy ngậy nên mix cùng quả nó tăng vị ngọt tự nhiên dễ ăn lắm 😋
Sữa chua mình tự ủ tự lọc nên có cách làm nha 😄
*Nguyên liệu: 1l sữa tươi không đường
1 hộp sữa chua không đường luôn
*Cách làm: Tất cả các dụng cụ được nhắc đến dưới đây đều tráng nước sôi cho sạch nha.
- Làm nóng 1l sữa tươi đến khoảng 40-50°C, mình không có nhiệt kế nên tự cảm nhận, thấy sữa ấm thì bắc xuống thôi.
- Sữa chua (để nhiệt độ phòng) hòa cùng sữa ấm vừa đun
- Nồi cơm điện cho nước, bật cook để sôi nước. Nước sôi thì đổ nước đi (Mục đích của bước này để làm nóng nồi)
- Cho hỗn hợp sữa vào nồi, không cắm điện, ủ 8 tiếng.
- Sau 8 tiếng ta có sữa chua ở dạng bình thường hay ăn. Lúc này chuẩn bị 1 cái khăn vải, rây lọc và một cái âu để hứng nước whey. Các bạn để rây lên âu, rồi để khăn vải lên, đổ sữa chua vào, buộc kín khăn rồi cất vô tủ lạnh. Khoảng 9-10 tiếng sau là ta tách được gần 380ml sữa chua HL và nước whey (như hình)
Cách làm rất đơn giản, tớ làm thành công ngay lần đầu nha 😄

To be or not to be FAT FREE?🧐🤔
..todays diet culture is becoming more and more "unhealthy" by using terminology that sounds "healthy" to us. As a result, branding and labeling is becoming more creative with their terminology, such as "low fat", "added fiber", "sugar free", "fat free". We are constantly told that fat is bad, sugar is bad, carbs are bad...but what constitutes BAD?
..where one macronutrient is compromised, it compensates in another area, usually as a chemical additive, to fill you up temporarily, but causes you to become more hungry as a result. Eating whole and macro-balanced foods that create satiety will allow you to stay full and recieve more nutrients from said food. Eat to fuel!

I’ve heard some people say, “I think the whole burning sage, yoga, and crystals is just a fad.” I guess they mean that those practices aren’t deeply meaningful to everyone and that some people will only be interested in them for a short time. But isn’t that how all movements work? Something becomes so visible and popular that everyone does it, and through that process, SOME people find practices that will be meaningful for the rest of their lives and they’ll pass them on to the next generation. I have no expectation that everyone derives the same meaning from Kemetic Yoga as I do. If people are curious enough to participate in a “fad” that’s as healthy as that, I’m glad. There are fads out here that that are damaging people... at least this one’s healthy.
