Workout, done! Have you ever done Pilates? If you haven’t, neither have I! I might have been working out for a couple of years now, but that doesn’t mean I’m a pro at every workout. Just because you might think you’ll look funny trying something new, don’t be afraid to do it! TRUST ME, I probably looked so silly doing my workout with some exercises but who cares! You’re not going to see results if you’re not going to work out because you’re scared of what others think. Go for it! Get those results you’ve been wanting!
If you really don’t want to start in the gym, the challenge I’m doing can also be done at home! It’s only 30 min of my day. Baby steps are always okay 😌

But I love to bbq & one day there was an accident with my gas grill that scared me. It was my sign to get the fricken Traeger. We have had ours for over 2 yrs now & I still haven’t used it to its full potential. I used to feel envious of friends who were able to fit multiple workouts into their days.Now that I have the luxury to decide how to fill my days, I decided that I’ll live with the opportunity and do 3 as a celebration of being closer to 100 than to zero.😃 I know I won’t look like Jericho, our trainer, but I FEEL like I look like her! When your muscles get proper treatment, they respond, get stronger, and leaner and you feel that you’re body is supported. You feel tighter and more flexible and simply more alive! 💃🏼 I decided that I’m not going to cheat on myself any more: I’ll take care of me.
So off to do some personal development and eat a healthy, nutritious lunch while doing it.

FIFTY DAYS IN A ROW. Who am I!? I'm getting up as early as 4am *by choice* to move my body before I start my day (I'm not saying "workout"
because every 4th on or so is stretching/recovery - we deserve it!). I've been at this journey for almost 4 years, helping others for 2, and this is the best I've felt so far!
Truth: getting started on this streak was only hard in my head. When I let go of the reasons I couldn't, it was incredibly simple to actually start and keep going.
⚡️I have more energy
⚡️I'm in a way better mood (most of the time!)
⚡️The jeans I wore day 1 are too big
⚡️My biceps.....💪🏻 so strong!
A few of the ladies I'm doing this with are seeing dramatic scale drops, total lifestyle/relationship changes now that they're active....I am so proud. I LOVE SUPPORTING THEM!!
My goal was to finish 100 workouts in however long it took.....but it doesn't feel like anything I've ever done before and I felt like I COULD keep going every day.
I don't plan to finish all 100 in a row, but that's ok. I always take my workouts with me when I travel but being on the road for 14 days will be a challenge! 🇨🇦

Been on a serious cookie kick lately 😝🍪 these GF Oat Flour Cookies are soooo gooey and good for the soul. Recipe 👇🏼 .
1 cup oat flour (I blended oats in my food processor but you can also just buy oat flour!).
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1/3 cup choco chips (I used dairy-free semi-sweet)
3 tbsp almond/oat milk
2 tbsp grapeseed oil (or other veg oil)
1/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp pure vanilla .
you can also use 1/2 oat flour and 1/2 regular rolled oats! .
Mix all ingredients (dry first), then let the dough set in the freezer for 15 min. Roll into small balls and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 11 minutes at 325. ✨ PS. I usually make a double batch!

Today is a day.😃 I’m really trying to stay in gratitude and go through my daily activities, but my tinnitus is turned up like crazy! 🔈
I did my workout and for that time it was all right. No, not quiet, but I was distracted enough to not be bothered by it. Since then, it’s been progressively more noticeable.
I know that my allergies are not helping.
So now I’m trying breathing exercises, listening to music and drinking lots of water, because I feel like water can solve almost anything.🤣 ( At least it won’t harm me...) But it’s hard to focus and be productive, which frustrates yhe heck out of me! ( Breathe...) I’m not sharing it to complain, just as a reminder that disabilities come in different forms and we should not envy or judge anyone just by what’ we see. We have no idea what others are going through.
When someone pisses you off, take a breath and react with this in mind: they might be going through something you are unaware of. Give them grace instead of assuming negative intentions.
And please be mindful of noise pollution. I could have avoided tinnitus had I been more mindful. We are not invincible. Or are we?😃 Have a wonderful Sunday!❤️

It’s a super special day! This gorgeous, kind, smart and always busy lady has turned 85!🎂💝🌸🎁🎈 I’m so grateful that I can spend this day with her! 😍
For years I was back in the US teaching when her birthday came around. Now that I earned my freedom, I get to be right here!💞 I wanted to make it all about her and came up with a couple of ideas, but for her being in motion and working sounds more fun than going out, so in we stayed.
After having some friends over, eating some birthday cake, and watching snooker ( she knows all the players and stats 😳),you won’t guess what she plans to do!😃Or can you? 😃
I mean, it’s her special day, so she should spend it the way she wants to spend it, but regarding her choice of evening activities, we’re def not twinning.🤣 #lovemybirthdaygirl

Life is all about balance!!!
Eat clean majority of the time,but still enjoy the goodies in small portions and occasionally(not daily)!
Try to change the weekend habits of overindulging to enjoying, while maintaining balance!
Eat a piece of pizza not 6, have a glass of wine not the bottle, a small scoop of ice cream not the tub!!!
We are not on a food and alcohol shortage...it will all be there next weekend so don’t go crazy with it!
Oh, today is a BIG day! We’re starting our “Sugar? No, thanks.” group and since it was my idea, I need to be on top of it.🤣 Not gonna lie, it’s hard, because I love sugar!
I also hate what it does to your body when it’s added to your diet without limits. And I mean healthy limits.
It’s 2:15 and so far I’ve been awesome! I even fasted for 12 hours, which is not a real fast, but at least I had a decent window between my snack ( yes, it happened....) and my breakfast.🙂 If you want to detox your body, clean up your diet and tame your sugar dependency, this group is what you need.

I was 9 when I decided to become a teacher. That was my dream. I had this vision inside every fiber of me. No wonder I became a teacher.
Then decades later I decided to find a job in the US. For a year I tirelessly explored all the possibilities and after countless obstacles and closed doors I landed a position and became a teacher in #charlottenc.
I loved it but found another passion and had another vision: I wanted to make an income and not be tied to a location.
Now I’m here in #budapest with my family doing what I love and I can take my business anywhere.
Yes, there’s already another dream, or fairy tale I’m holding in my heart.
Don’t be mistaken: none of these dreams had much support at the beginning among my family and friends. You need to be tough and have a strong belief and take action despite the negativity.
You just trust yourself AF. No fear, no doubt, no second-guessing and no plan B allowed.
Just keep pounding.
This is what I had on my vision board: to work wherever and whenever I want to.
Freedom is probably my spirit word, if there’s such a thing at all.😃 I used to do the 9 to 5, well, 7 to 3 and 8 to 5 to be more precise, as a teacher for most of my life.
I can’t say I didn’t enjoy it and part of me actually misses it too, but I’ve been dreaming of this for a while now and now I have it!
I like to work in our yard, on the beach, in cafes or on the plane.
It seems like I’ve found the best businesses to be engaged in: passion meets fun and helping people. Serve and be rewarded.❤️🙏🏼❤️
This morning I went to check on my mom and heard her talking on the phone.
She was telling a friend about my allergies and how I’m still struggling with it even though I’m taking meds.
She was not complaining, not seeking compassion, just objectively describing the situation, mentioning facts and also speaking with a touch of pride infused with love.
Not sure if you know what I mean, but I felt a huge rush of gratitude that brought tears in my eyes. I still GET to hear her talk. And also talk about me. Among our many roles we sometimes forget that we are daughters too and it was a much needed reminder.
I also loved the feeling of being alike: we rarely get emotional when we face problems or obstacles: my mom, my dad ( wish you were here) and I take them as tasks to solve. We don’t ruminate and get into our feelings. But I do get emotional when I think of how great parents I’ve been blessed with.🙏🏼😍🙏🏼 Happy Thursday, dear friends!💝
So that happened.
What? Now I like Nutella!!! It came at the worst time! I decided to eat for fuel and somehow I managed to try Nutella.
Don’t ever do that! If there’s something addictive, tasty and full of carbs that you don’t like, be happy and don’t check of your taste buds have changed their mind.:) On the upside, I’m eating it with a super low carb and high healthy fat and protein bread. Yep, it’s heavenly!
