• 3 el chiazaad
• 150 ml plantaardige melk naar keuze
• Je favoriete toppings
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Bereiding :
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
• Meng de chiazaadjes met de melk, laat minstens 4u in de koelkast, best de avond voordien klaarmaken dus. Voeg indien nodig meer melk/water toe.
• Warm op of eet het koud, en voeg toppings naar keuze toe.

Tip: voeg naast de chia en melk ook nog kruiden toe zoals kaneel, kruidnagel, kurkuma, kardemom,... 😋

healthyfoodhappymood So I’m not typically a recipe poster BUT.... -  I’ve definitely been trying to drop some COVID panic pounds - cue wine and pasta overload x first two weeks! It was good though!! Haha.

Anyway it’s slowly but surely coming off.

I’m telling myself I love myself all the time.
Replacing frustrated thoughts with:
My body knows how to shed unneeded weight and get healthy.
My body easily bounces back.
I love you perfect body - you always know what to do to keep my healthy.
Everything I desire is coming my way including a beautiful healthy beach body that Ill feel good in — that I can move well in.

You know — changing from — dam you scale! I’ve been trying so hard and nothing ever works I always fail I always over eat I’ll just be the soft chubby girl forever and give up!

Anyhow it seems to be working slowly but surely. Another current hurdle is my daughter has a few cavities we’ve been battling the last two months as her dental appointment was cancelled.

So sugar has been cut out. Poor thing.
Perhaps the universe is telling us a message...🤭...hmmmm....I’ve never been a no sugar mom I’m all about balance and a healthy relationship with food.

Anyway we both win this morning as I made us these amazing sugar free breakfast cookies!! 2 ripe bananas 
3tbs peanut butter
One egg - mashed-mix together 
Mix separately 
2cups if oats 
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1tbs baking powder 
Mix dry ingredients then stir with wet - if super goopy could add Tbs flour 
Mix in 1 cup stevia sweetened chocolate chips!

Bake 12-14 min at 350 F
TaDa!!!! Enjoy!!!

So I’m not typically a recipe poster BUT.... - I’ve definitely been trying to drop some COVID panic pounds - cue wine and pasta overload x first two weeks! It was good though!! Haha. herbs: fresh lemon, salt, pepper, chili, curry powder, rosemary, mint (trying to be creative 😄)

Put everything in a big pot, add coconut milk and simmer for about 30min. Super easy. Super delicious.
I like to serve it with basmati rice.

healthyfoodhappymood I think I'm posting this for me as much as anyone else that might need to hear it.

With all this alone time I've got right now, my mind has become a very active place, and not entirely in helpful or healthy ways. 
So here's the reminder, your mind will lie to you! It will lie to you about any number of things. Here are just a few things my mind has lied to me about just today: ✓  That I was hungry when I was simply bored
✓  That I was too tired to workout (really I just didn't want to)
✓  The blog post I'm working on won't be interesting to anyone else
✓  The fact that business has been slower than usual is because I'm a failure
✓  My dog only loves me because I'm the one that can reach the treats
✓  These damn aftershocks from the earthquake will never go away
✓  I'll never be able to hug my loved ones again without fear of getting sick
✓  Eating an entire pint of Halo Top ice cream is fine because it's sugar free

I could go on, but I'll stop there, I think you get the point. Some are silly and I can laugh about, but others, if I choose to believe them, will hurt me, will stop me from achieving my goals, from being my best self, from being happy and content. 
Believing lies about myself was very commonplace for me just a few short years ago. The big problem with it was, I genuinely didn't know they were lies. I believed every single lie my mind spit out at me, and there were a lot of them, and they were constant!

It took a lot of work on myself to learn to recognize the truth from the lies. It took a whole lot of self care, forgiveness, stepping back and looking at things in a new light and from a new perspective. For me though, it all started with fixing my diet, which in turn healed my body, and when my body healed, it healed my mind. It allowed me to see the world in a whole new way. It allowed me to be a kinder, more understanding, and a more empathetic person, and that includes towards myself. 
We have so much power over our health, and over what we think and choose to believe. So, go eat a healthy meal and believe you are the amazing human being that you are! We all deserve love, kindness and acceptance, and that includes you!!!
