2️⃣Rice cake partyyyyyy…Toppings include mashed avocado + olive oil+ sea salt flakes
peanut butter with bananas + hemp seeds + chia seeds + honey 
Peanut butter + strawberries + chia seeds
PB + Jelly + Cream cheese + cucumber + “everything but the bagel” seasoning

3️⃣Curried scrambled eggs, cinnamon raisin PB & jelly toast, 🍓, avocado toast drizzled with EVOO and sprinkled with pink salt flakes

4️⃣COCONUT BANANA PANCAKES 🥥🍌
1 banana + 1 egg + 3 tbsp of coconut flour + 1/2 tsp of baking powder + 1/2 tsp cinnamon✨
mash the banana, add whisked egg, baking powder, coconut flour and cinnamon. mix well and form pancakes into 4-5 inch cakes and cook in a pan coated with coconut oil at low heat with lid for 3-4 minutes on each side. drizzle with some maple butter and enjoy!

5️⃣Sunday Paleo Pancake Stacks😍👏🏻
Paleo mix and added 1 egg, 1/4 c flax meal and 1 mashed banana to the batter and cooked in a pan on low heat with the lid on until ready. 
we paired them with plain yogurt, creamy PB and maple syrup.

6️⃣GF LEMON RICOTTA PANCAKES 🍋🍋🍋 😍🙌🏻
8 oz (1 cup) ricotta cheese + 2 tsp coconut sugar + 1 tsp lemon juice + lemon zest from 1 lemon + 1/2 tsp vanilla extract + 1 egg + 4 tbsp almond flour + 2 tbsp brown rice flour…Directions: combine all ingredients.
heat a skillet over medium heat and add coconut oil. form cakes into balls with lightly floured hands, and put them into the skillet, press and lower the heat. cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side uncovered. once ready, cover with the lid and let it cook for another 1-2 minutes.

¿Cómo se hace?
En un bowl mezcla las semillas de chía y el agua, deja reposar 5 minutos o hasta que te quede una consistencia gelatinosa.
Licúa la leche de almendras, avena, plátano, canela y polvo para hornear.
Agrega a la mezcla las chispas de chocolate y mezcla bien.
En un sartén previamente precalentado y engrasado, haz los círculos de los pancakes. Cuando tengan burbujas voltéalos y déjalos cocinar por algunos minutos más.
Sirve con la crema de cacahuate.

It is notably a staple food in Egypt, especially in the northern cities of Cairo and Gizah. Deets for this bowl- its just a tad different than my preferred way to make oatmeal but you just have to work with what ya got on vacation! I mean it’s vacation; eating, working out, etc doesn’t have to be perfect. Its only a small section out of your life, its not going to majorly affect anything. Enjoy yo self!

Old fashioned oats (I prefer quick for the texture), mixed with ground flax & cinnamon. I normally add shredded zucchini but didn’t have any. Once cooked, I mixed in @drinkiconic vanilla protein. Topped with banana, blueberries, pepitas, hemp seeds @maranathanutbutters raw almond butter and more cinnamon.

Pro tip for vacations: I bring a lot of non-perishable foods so I don’t have to buy them there! I brought little bags of pepitas, hemp seeds, already portioned out protein powder, cinnamon, and almond butter! Saves money and is so easy to do😊

Why do they not have the blueberry emoji yet?! Rude. These took less than 10 minutes to prep and made with wholesome ingredients 🥰
〰️Dry Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 cup rolled oats (blended)
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1/2 tsp baking soda
〰️Wet Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup milk of choice
• 1/4 cup greek yogurt
• 2 Eggs
• 1 Banana (finely mashed)
• 3 tbsp sugar free maple syrup
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 cup blueberries
〰️Method:
• In a blender or food processor, blend dry ingredients until finely milled.
• In a separate bowl, mix the wet ingredients except blueberries. Add the wet ingredients slowly with the dry ingredients. Taste and see if the mix is sweet enough to your liking (add more syrup if desired)
• Heat the skillet over medium-low heat. Pour 1/4 cup of the pancake batter in and place small blueberries in the pancake. Make sure that the blueberry is mostly submerged in the pancake or else it won’t cook evenly when you flip. Should take 3-4 mins on each side. Repeat until finished.
〰️Optional for topping:
• In a food processor, process 1/2 cup greek yogurt and 3 tbsp honey for topping.
• Sauté berries with coconut oil for 2-3 minutes.

Esta vez usé calabacita y brócoli pero pueden usar los vegetales que tengan a la mano y así agregar más nutrientes y fibra a su desayuno.
Como guarnición puse un poquito de chilaquiles fit para complementar el desayuno y pues los chilaquiles siempre son una buena idea 😉

Omelette del huerto.✨🥚🥦✨
Ingredientes:
• 2 huevos o 1 huevo y una clara o 3 claras.🥚
• 1 taza de calabacín picado y floretes pequeños de brócoli.🥦
• 30 gr. de queso panela o Oaxaca.
• 1/2 cdita. de aceite de aguacate.
• 1/3 de taza de salsa verde cocida, no frita.💚
• Sal al gusto.
• 1/3 de taza de frijoles de la olla.
Para los chilaquiles:
• 1/3 de taza de totopos horneados.🌽
• 3 cdas. de salsa roja.🍅
• 1/2 cda. de yogurt griego sin azúcar o crema.
• 1 cdita. de queso panela rayado.
.
🥣 Bate el huevo con un chorrito de agua y sal al gusto.
Vierte en un sartén antiadherente caliente y espera a que se cocine bien por un lado.
Voltea y pon el queso en el centro a lo largo.
Espera a que se cocine bien el huevo y dobla en tres partes.
Sirve en un plato.
En otro sartén pon unas gotitas de aceite de aguacate y saltea los vegetales con sal al gusto por unos minutos, no dejes que se sobre cocinen para que no pierdan firmeza ni nutrientes.
Vierte encima la salsa verde, mezcla unos segundos y pon todo sobre el omelette.
Pon junto los totopos, báñalos con la salsa roja caliente, pon encima el yogurt o la crema y el queso panela rayado.
Acompaña con frijoles de la olla.

I love starting my morning with smoothie bowls because they’re so filling, nutritious and it’s basically a healthy version of ice cream! There are endless combinations you can do so I never get bored of them.

Especially now that it’s summer time, our bodies tend to crave cold and sugary foods whereas in the winter time we crave foods higher in fat, starch and more soups —to keep us warm and comforted. Smoothies and smoothie bowls are a perfect way to satisfy that craving and so simple to make.

They’re also a great way to make sure you’re getting enough servings of fruit in your day. Be careful with unnecessary additions of sugar such as honey or maple syrup. Although they’re natural sources, they’re not necessary for smoothie bowls as the fruit sugar is enough sweetness !

The main reason why I’ve been off social media this week is because my board exam to become a certified holistic nutritionist is today. Please wish me luck! I’ll keep you updated on how it goes.

These past few days have been absolutely brutal and horrifying. The murder of George Floyd has me and the world enraged. Justice still has not been served. It will only be served if we continue speaking up. . Change comes from taking action: voting in June and November, donating to true organizations, emailing/calling out those in power, rebelling against the cruelty, talking to your friends/family, and taking a stand for those who cannot. It’s more than just hashtags and retweeting. . The main reason why I’ve been off social media this week is because my board exam to become a certified holistic nutritionist is today. Please wish me luck! I’ll keep you updated on how it goes. . I pray to God that I pass this exam. I pray to God for George Floyd and his family. And for everyone before him who has been wrongfully mistreated. I pray for the safety of those who protest. I am with you, I am for you and I hear you. . Take care of minneapolis. healthybreakfastideas Happy Sunday! ☀️🌿 I’ve really been on a tater tot kick this week. I made these TATER TOT BREAKFAST TACOS with scrambled eggs, ground tater tots, bacon and avocado 🥑 .... and topped with Santa Fe sauce... and I’d make them 10x over. Any kind of tacos are fantastic but breakfast tacos really have my name all over them. 🌮🍳🥓 These were gluten free, dairy free and took less than 20 minutes to make. 🙌🏼

🌿 Ingredients 
2 scrambled eggs 🥚 
3 pc turkey bacon 🥓 
6 corn tortillas 
1/2 avocado 
Diced Red onion 
Fresh spinach .
. 🌿Santa Fe Sauce Ingredients 
2 Tbsp lite mayo 
1 tsp hot sauce
1/2 roasted red pepper
1 Tbsp bbq sauce
1 tsp fresh garlic

🌿Santa Fe Sauce Directions
1. Half a roasted red pepper from the jar and add to a blender. 
2. Add mayo, hot sauce, bbq sauce and garlic. Then blend until all ingredients are fully combined.
3. Add to dipping bowl and serve with salad, fries or veggies! .

🌿 Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350. Add corn tortillas to a lined baking sheet and bake for 3-5 minutes to warm so tortillas are easier to work with.
2. Scramble eggs. 
3. Make the turkey bacon. I add mine to a plate, between 2 layers of paper towels, and microwave for 3 minutes. Once done, continue in increments of 30 minutes until bacon is as crispy as desired. 
4. In a frying pan, add tater tots and cook on medium heat for approx 10-13 minutes. When they are soft enough, crush into pieces and season with garlic and herb seasoning. Continue to pan fry until pieces are crispy.
5. Remove corn tortillas from the oven and double them up, 2 per taco. Layer the Santa Fe sauce, then spinach, then tater tots. Add scrambled eggs on top, sliced avocado, red onion and bacon crumbles! .

Это так просто, что даже немного стыдно🙈

- 1 яйцо
- 3 ст.л. воды
- 50г молотой овсянки + немного цельных хлопьев ⠀

Сбиваем яйцо вилкой, добавляем воду и овсянку и перемешиваем. Если оставить массу постоять, она загустеет, тогда можно добавить ещё немного воды.
Выпекаем в гриле/вафельнице/мультипекаре. Можно пожарить на сковороде. ⠀

Подавать можно с мёдом/вареньем/творожным сыром и тд. ⠀

Мое любимое сочетание - с протеиновой/арахисовой пастой  и бананом🤤 а ещё вкусно с сыром🧀 ⠀

Все! Самый сытный завтрак готов😋

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ve seen me proclaim myself as the sweet potato’s #1 fan.

I love eating them in all sorts of ways, but sweet potato toast is definitely one of my favorites!

I love loading them up with ALL the goodies 😍 and since I can never choose, I always make a sweet and a savory toast.

Which would you choose? - You can pick both 😉

To make them, just slice a sweet potato into ¼” thick slices and bake at 400F for about 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through. You can bake them longer if you want a crispier toast. Then, load ‘em up with your favorite toppings! •

just a little reminder that we all have different needs. some eat more some days, some eat less. we don’t all eat the same amount. why? because all our bodies are different and all need different requirements depending on certain aspects. i honestly don’t ever feel  hungry but eating 3meals a day is important whether you’re hungry or not!!! ive seen so many people skip meals just because they’re ‘not hungry’ and that’s not an excuse to miss a meal tbh. especially when in recovery. other than that it’s all down to you 🤷🏻‍♀️

Another breakfast, another grain, but never the same. I always like to try new combination and varieties of ingredients in this way my body benefits from all the good sources available.
This is actually a pseudo-grain bowl, I’ve used Quinoa, soaked and cooked in water for less than 10 minutes.
Fresh hazelnut milk made from scratch, and some fresh fruit on top.

hellooo and happy Sunday 💛 i want to apologize for being so inactive this past week! as you guys know I broke my phone and have been sharing my moms with her lol so it’s been harder to post as frequently. however yesterday I got a new one and will be back to my daily posts!!! so to kick off breakfast today, I decided to make a breakfast version of the lemon blueberry loaf bread I previously made. and these oats came out DELICIOUS. the combination of the tangy lemon zest and the sweetness of the blueberries and apple created such a warm and springy taste that is making me crave more for tomorrow’s breakfast lol 💙!!! I hope you all enjoy this recipe😊

YOU WILL NEED...
1/2 cups oats (I used @quaker)
3/4 cup water
1/2 tsp cinnamon 
1 tsp honey 
1/4 cup blueberries, mashed 
2 tsp chia seeds 
drizzle of organic blue agave
sprinkle of hemp seeds 
1/2 apple, (separated in 2 parts sliced & diced)
1/4 tsp lemon zest
handful of dried cranberries 
__________________________________
DIRECTIONS 
1. cook oats in water on medium heat for 5 minutes generously stirring 
2. about 5 minutes in, add in your cinnamon, honey, lemon zest, and apples
3. in a bowl, mash blueberries until pasty and slightly chunky and mix in chia seeds, chill in refrigerator for 5 min
4. pour oatmeal in a bowl and top with sliced apples and cranberries
5. take out chia/blueberry mixture and mix together thoroughly. pour on top of oats and add extra blueberries, hemp seeds, and lemon zest. drizzle with agave and enjoy !!!!

Since it’s getting warmer ive been craving something refreshing when I get home from a long walk! Sometimes it’s smoothies, sometimes frozen fruit, and now a homemade slushee! ⁣

Here’s how to make:⁣

- 10 oz water ⁣
- lemon⁣
- I scoop of @organifi red juice⁣
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup of Ice crushed up ⁣
⁣
Directions: ⁣
1. Crush your ice in a blender so it looks like crushed snow⁣
2. In a separate bottle mix some seltzer or water with your red juice⁣
3. Pour your ice in a glass, then add your drink ⁣
4. Squeeze a quarter or half of a lemon inside depending how tart you like it ⁣
5. Enjoy !!
